- Tac Turismo - The Cuneo family, originally from Italy, established Casas del Bosque in 1993 in the Casablanca Valley, which is 70 kilometers from Santiago, the capital of Chile, and 30 kilometers from the port of Valparaíso, a UNESCO Cultural Heritage site. The name “Casas del Bosque” was inspired by the large, ancient forests of pines and olive trees, and the small white adobe houses in the area.
Today, the vineyard spans 235 hectares and is dedicated solely to producing cold climate varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Syrah. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere are sourced from meticulously managed vineyards in Maipo, Colchagua, and Cachapoal.
