Family Adventure! - Had a wonderful tour yesterday going to Portillo. We are a group of 6 people ( 3 kids) and had an amazing time. Our tour guide Steve with his endless energy took good care of us from providing us with Chilean history and culture to feeding us yummy empanadas with wine. He even has his professional camera and took pictures of us enjoying the views with the kids playing in the snow. Our driver was pretty skilled in maneuvering the curvy roads up the mountain. They picked us up on time at our hotel with a brand new van that was clean and comfortable for all of us including the ones sitting in the back. Thank you for treating us like family and making our stay in Chile memorable! Highly recommend this full day tour- you will not regret it! Totally worth it!

Advice - The Driver and the Guide were more than Excellent, they both took the time to make us feel more than comfortable, what was missing was a part of the tour that if you look at the Itinerary says: 7 - Guardia Vieja Glacier Stop: 30 minutes - Admission included Good pit stop for Chilean Empanadas for snack. There is also a lovely Llama farm here. They did give the empanadas but at the second stop which was at Viña San Esteban. Also, if you go in winter, bring snow clothing, there is also a first stop that is to rent clothing, the snow jackets and boots were $10,000 Chilean pesos each and the gloves were $5,000.
