I had stomach problem... - I had stomach problem earlier in the morning and asked Ignacio to pick us up 45 minutes later and everything worked out. We were grateful that he was flexible even though I told him 15 minutes before planned meeting. He was knowledgeable about Santiago and Chile as well as US snd we enjoyed talking to him.

Short time window Santiago option - Good overview of Santiago and Chile when you have limited time. Luis provided a detailed history of a hike and made adjustments to the schedule to accommodate our preferences.

Introduction to Santiago - Our guide was very knowledgeable. He took us all around Santiago. We were able to leisurely stroll around and didn't feel rushed. We enjoy all the big sites. We did this tour first to get our bearings.

Well done! - Janina and Mauricio were amazing! They toured us through Santiago discussing history and culture. We only had one day in the city but feel like we were totally immersed. We'll be back!

Great overview of Santiago - Our guide Erick was excellent and gave us a wonderful overview of Santiago, including culture and history. It was a nice blend of driving and walking through the city center for the most part. Erick was great about keeping a pace that was comfortable for us. What we would do differently is to have stopped at 3 hours and skipped the last segment which took us the modern part of the city. While it was interesting to see the contrast - and the unusual architecture of the US Embassy, we got caught in traffic that made it more tedious.

Not worth the money - I didnā€™t get to see the first hill. The tour guide asked me if I wanted to walk somewhere but was not explicit so I said no. Then later she told me that was the first hill. Most of what we saw was in the same area. We drove past several interesting buildings that I had to ask about to get information. I asked for a ride to my hotel (my phone was low on battery and outside the normal pick up range) and they demanded an extra 34,000 pesos.
