My Day - A very interesting day learned a lot but an 8hr day was too much for me next time a half day tour would have been better.

Our trip was excellent, ... - Our trip was excellent, we were picked up from hotel in the morning and were dropped off in the evening. Driver and tour guides were very good, there was so much to see, everything was very interesting. And good thing was lunch and soft drinks were included , will do it again!👍

I enjoyed it! - As a person who loves history the tour served it's purpose. If you are and English speaker be patient, with your tour guide. Ours spoke English well but would at times forget to translate for us. The buffet provided was so good! Bring a book for the ride to SD, it's lengthy. I would definitely recommend.

Not so great !!!! - First off we were originally told pick up was 8 o’clock then got an email the day before they changed it to 7:30 AM which is fine so we got up early went to the front lobby for 10 after seven waited waited waited, walked up and down the driveway buses kept coming through to pick other people up. Finally, I messaged Them and said where are you? They called me and said they were out on the street nowhere did it say that our pick up was out on the street? How were we to know, no one came in looking for us !!! Then we got on the bus, which was not a great bus then we went to another pick up point sat there for 20 minutes while nobody got on the bus then left. Then we drove and drove to a gas station and got on another bus which was bigger and a lot better, then we began to drive again and finally he pulled over on the side of the highway and picked up our guide which I was wondering I thought this was a guided tour so that was good !! The guide was good. The first stop was on the side of the highway at a gift shop, which was again absolutely so hot inside no fans, crowded, and dirty. The bathrooms were an absolute disgrace. Then we proceeded to Santo Domingo where we made a few stops to view a few places when lunchtime came we went to a restaurant that I will give a zero out of 10 they crammed us in like sardines. I had to get up and walk out, my husband and I just bought our own drinks and went across the street because the chairs were so uncomfortable and you were crammed in like sardines and it was so hot and muggy I couldn’t stand to be in there, then after lunch, we went into the historical area and every place they took us (souvenir shops). It was so hot and muggy and uncomfortable that I ended up actually almost fainting got really sick so now I have no lunch in me.(I have vacationed in many tropical locations) And have gone on many excursions, and this was by far the worst Overheating everywhere because there’s no air conditioning in any of these places they took us. Then on the way home again, we were in a nice big boss comfortable air conditioning then we ended up at some gas station along the way transferred to a absolutely crammed full small bus music blaring so loud at 8 PM and I know everybody was just really tired then they proceeded to read out the hotels that they were going to stop at and there was eight of them and we happen to be the very last drop off , so it turned out to be way longer than we expected 13 hours in total . Never again will I book through there!!!

Caribbean excursions - Hi! On the beach they sold us the excursion to Santo Domingo, the company Excursions Del Caribe, unfortunate!! they looked for us at 7 in the morning, they took us to a playon and after a wait of almost an hour, they started distributing to the groups with different destinations, then we went to the Trafic and when my cousin came down and told them to return the money we were returning to the hotel, we managed to leave, the guide good vibes but took us to three places of shopping !! Don’t shop at the beach, let alone CARIBBEAN EXCURSIONS

Not worth it, except for what I highlight in the commentary - As I made it from Punta Cana, it is a long journey, 216 km per stretch, and leaving the comfort of the beach and an all inclusive to get up early, walk with a lot of heat, eat in a mediocre place, and not have time to go to some other store than the very expensive ones to which the guide takes you, does not satisfy me. Now, if anyone is subjugated to see the Columbus monument -on the outside- (which I didn't think was cute), the Cathedral (beautiful), the place where they honor and bury with guard their heroes and remarkable characters, (very cute), the oldest houses in America, well, it may be. The seawall is pretty much cute. Beautiful walk to The Three Eyes of Water, which is a cavern, for me it is a cenote.

Disappointed - The description said group of 27 ppl, but we’re 48!!!! Such a big group is hard!!! And they didn’t bring us to the restaurant that’s listed in the description. The guide brought us to a verrry small restaurant that me and my friends ended up eating by the streets, smelling foul odors of street drainage. And bus’ air conditioning is so low. It’s so hot towards the end of the bus where we were seated. It was very disappointing.
