• The 3 Eyes National Park - This national park is home to one of the city’s best-kept natural secrets, featuring four stunning lakes:

1. Sulfur Lake: The first lake visible upon entry, named for the whitish substance at its bottom, which was once thought to be sulfur.

2. Ladies’ Lake: Previously used as a spa, this lake was reserved for women due to its discreet location and shallow depth, reaching 2.5 meters at its deepest point.

3. La Nevera: Known for its chilly temperatures, this lake never receives sunlight, maintaining temperatures between 15°C and 21°C.

4. Los Zaramagullones: The fourth lake, named after a species of native amphibious ducks. It is surrounded by impressive natural vegetation.

• Columbus Lighthouse (Faro A Colon) - Faro A Colon is a cross-shaped monument celebrating the Christianization of the Americas, measuring about 800 meters in length and 36.5 meters in height. Although once believed to contain the remains of Admiral Christopher Columbus, genetic studies have confirmed his remains are in the Cathedral of Seville.

When illuminated, the lighthouse projects a cross-shaped light into the night sky, visible from approximately 64 kilometers away. However, this powerful lighting can disrupt the electricity supply in nearby neighborhoods, so it is only turned on for special occasions.

• Panteon Nacional - The National Pantheon is a mausoleum preserving the remains of notable figures in Dominican Republic history. It has around 36 empty spaces for future heroes, including an unmarked space dedicated to the unknown soldier. A permanent honor guard, composed of members of the presidential guard in ceremonial attire, stands motionless. One member performs a solemn round in the central corridor, from the main entrance to the High Altar. Alongside the Dominican flag, the flags of the Air Force, Navy, and Army of the Dominican Republic are displayed.
• Parque Colon - Parque Colón is the main recreational plaza in the Colonial City, surrounded by significant monuments such as the First Cathedral of America, the first City Hall of Santo Domingo, Calle el Conde, renowned restaurants, shops, and more. The park features a statue of Christopher Columbus, crafted by French sculptor Ernesto Gilbert in 1887.
• Palacio National - The tour includes a visit to the National Palace or presidential palace, with a stop for photos before continuing the tour. The time required to travel between locations is included.
• Museo De Las Casas Reales - The Museum of the Royal Houses, or Royal Palaces, served as the headquarters for two palaces dating back to the 16th century. Built by order of the Crown of Castile during the reign of Ferdinand II of Aragon on October 5, 1511, it housed the main government offices of the time. Known as the Building of the Royal Houses, it contained the Royal Audience, the first court in the New World, and served as the residence for Governors and Captains General. Notable residents included Bartholomew Columbus and Louis Ferrand. The halls of the Royal Audience hosted important meetings and parties with prominent figures of the era.
• Calle Las Damas - Las Damas Street, the first street in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic, and America, is located in the Colonial City. Named for the ladies who strolled along it during the colonial period, it is now adorned with colonial tiles. Attractions include Fortaleza Ozama, La Real Audiencia, the house of Don Rodrigo de Bastidas, the “Trampolín” children’s museum, colonial houses (some with colonial shields), and Plaza España at the end.

Distinguished colonial families, such as the Oviedo, Dávila, Heredia, Campuzano Polanco, Infante, and Coca families, built their homes on this street.

We begin our tour in the lobby of your hotel, with a 2h and 30 minute drive until we reach the 1st point: Las Cuevas de los Tres Ojos, where you will explore its underground wonders with an expert guide. We will have a stop at the Gran Faro a Colón to take incredible photos, inaugurated by Pope John Paul II and we will visit the great Presidential Palace and other emblematic points of the Dominican Republic. We will continue the tour in the historic Colonial Zone, admiring the Alcázar de Colón, the majestic National Pantheon, and the Catedral Primada de América. We will continue with the Convent of the Dominicans, walk along Calle Las Damas and explore the Amber Museum. After immersing yourself in history, we will pause to enjoy an authentic Dominican lunch in a place full of history and local tradition, where you will learn more about the culture of the area. We will conclude our day at the local crafts and take you back to your hotel.
