D R History & Culture - A must see and do. In addition to the history of D R, the walking tour was great exercise and extra stops were bonus, chocolate factory and store offered free tea and coffee tasting. Lunch was delicious and filling. Leo our guide spoke both Spanish and English. Highly recommend *****

Great Tour - definitely recommend - We enjoyed the tour itself. Willie was a great tour guide. He made sure we were comfortable and that we understood what was going on throughout the tour. He spoke spanish and english so it was helpful. The drive was great and I did appreciate that he drove fast and passed slow drivers. He was a very skilled driver. The lunch buffet was good. We really liked the three eyes lagoons. Everything other people said about the long ride and logistics of getting there is very accurate. Just know that it’s a long day and just be ready for that. We left our hotel around 7:15 am and didn’t get back until about 6:45 pm. Long day.

Average experience - The transport was uncomfortable, there were no seat belts in the vehicle, it took a long time to leave, and lunch left something to be desired. The driver drove well, the guide Léo explained well, but a lot of time wasted in the craft store.

You can see Santo Domingo in better ways - This tour is not as described except you do see Santo Domingo. The pick up process is chaotic and unexplained. Our pickup almost didn’t happen because they thought we were already on the bus. When they came back, they parked a distance away and WHISTLED at us like dogs, then yelled for us to come on and get in. After we’re on the bus we were glared at most of the way to another exchange station at a gas station. Nothing, nothing, was explained to us along the way there. The driver said hello and that was it. Once we were added to a Santo Domingo tour group at the gas station, we were on the same bus that brought us there. We were packed in so tight that jump seats were used. The “helper” that whistled and yelled at us, squeezed in between passengers on one jump seat and invaded personal spaces and stretched out putting his feet up by a guest. * see photos A little broken information was given to us that we would be picking up our tour guide two hours later in Santo Domingo which we did. Leo was an informative and caring guide. He actually was the best thing about the tour except the lunch. We did see quite a bit of the city and its sights with Leo giving us historical info along the way. Contrary to what the description said, the only gastronomy part of the tour was a buffet lunch and gas station snacks. Also what was not said in the description is that this is at least a 50% walking tour. It only says not wheelchair accessible and good for most travelers. Several guests had walking difficulties which Leo did his best to accommodate. There were also several who had not dressed for a walking tour and were not happy. At the end of the tour Leo was dropped off again in Santo Domingo. Then we were heading back to the gas station point again. When we arrived they were dividing everyone up into other busses depending on your final destination. It was chaotic and again, no communication. We were added into an already full bus and I was told to sit in a jump seat. It was broken and leaning in a slope. The driver and helpers laughed at me and the situation. Told me to get in a different one if I wanted. The other one leaned back instead of sideways and was not stable. I am 60yrs old and have some physical issues. This was NOT a good thing. We were crammed in like sardines and I rode in pain until we dropped someone off and I could get a real seat. A language barrier was not an issue, I speak Spanish. Age was not an issue, we do what we can. Culture was not an issue, we have travelled and lived all over the world. It being a DR thing is not an issue, we’ve been here several times. What are the issues are lack of correct tour description in the listing, lack of communication as to the pick up/drop off procedure, lack of care for the guests comfort, and lack of respect and courteousness of some of the staff. The only way I even knew a little as to what was happening at the beginning was I reached out on WhatsApp to our original contact. This should have not been my responsibility. We are here a few more days and will probably book more tours and in return visits as well, but I will not book with this company again. The ONLY reason I gave this two stars instead of 1 was because of Leo. He was a good guide.

Worst experience ever! - It a super bad experience for the trip. We booked the trip on Trip advisor on Sunday Nov/26/2023 , as we think Trip advisor is a big platform and can provide us with amazing experience.however the whole trip was all in opposite way. We got the trip confirmation by email on Sunday and says the trip is for next Tuesday. The trip company name: Jhoraji , Tel# 1-849-206-6405. They supposed to picked us on Tuesday Nov/28/2023 at7:30 am, We waited for half an hour and then we asked our hotel front desk to help us call the contacts. And the tour operator says that they didn’t see our reservations, later on they checked their system and then they find it out our reservation and promised to picked us tomorrow for the trip. The next day for the trip, they picked us hotel at 7:30am with a mini-van. The air conditioner is too bad and it is super hot for the whole trip. It stopped at a gas station and some clients changed their car but we didn’t. IT IS only a small minivan !!! It is full car with 12 people, cloudy and massy. The whole trip to Santo Domingo was like staying in Sauna house, worst experience ever . The car driver fixed the air condition in 3 eyes park, then air condition is working. The trip is super boring and the most beautiful place is 3 eyes park,it looks pretty . Also the tour guide leading us to 3 shopping place: Art shops/ chocolate shop/ jewellery shops…

Don’t Book with this provider very unorganized - This was one of the worst experience we’ve have been on. First thing they don’t pick up at hotel drop off. They tell u to have your hotel drive u to the front gate. Didn’t find this out until we already paid. The next thing I had to call because they was over 30 minutes late for pick up even after I confirmed they would be there . The driver pulls up and takes us on a 15 minute ride to a gas station. Tell us to get out and wait over in this section to regroup. Then another drive came and told us to come with him, very confusing and weird. Then they pack us in this tiny van with zero comfort. After about 45min we start our drive to only pick up 4 more people with only 2 seats left so one had to sit on the steps crazy! Very unorganized and not something I’d ever book if I see this provider anywhere. The tour was ok we was rushed through the city and the driver drove very reckless we did have lunch at a nice looking restaurant, however the food was terrible. I’d recommend you bring u a snack and water for this trip. We left hotel at 8am-got back around 8:45pm so it’s along traveling trip. If u do one of these tours look for a small group tour of private this one adds on people until the bus is totally full and uncomfortable for all no breathing room and your shoulder to shoulder
