At Oakridge, we’ll hop on a traditional cayuco boat to attain Jonesville, popular for its pirate festival and more significantly, its mangrove tunnels. These mangroves are a harbor for diverse aqua, avian, and land species, serving as a breeding ground. The mangrove roots also play a significant role in preventing debris from entering the ocean.
