Authentic, engaging tour with attentive guide; fun walking experience. - I recently went on a tour that truly immersed me in the authentic culture of the Dominican Republic. From start to finish, the experience was unforgettable. The tour guide was incredibly attentive, ensuring that i I felt engaged and informed throughout the journey. We covered a lot of ground, so there was plenty of walking involved, but it was all worth it. Each step brought me closer to the vibrant and rich heritage of the country. The fun and excitement of the tour made the walking feel effortless. If you're looking for an authentic Dominican experience, this tour is a must!

An Authentic Local Experience - The tour was an authentic cultural experience. At no point did we ever feel unsafe. Our tour guide Joel was very informative. We loved sitting in the local Dominican home enjoying the homemade icecream and hanging outside with Ms. Flora while she made empanadas. The cable car ride brought everything learned together. We give this tour a 2 thumbs up and a must experience. Barron

BOOK IT - Just BOOK IT , everything was perfect, as a solo white traveler can be a little intimidating to walk around through places you have no idea about, but Mike was a great guide , everything was safe and everyone was very friendly! Highly recommend

Great tour, come with the right mindset! - Great tour to see a different way of life in Santo Domingo outside of Santo Domingo In general, the area you’ll be visiting is a place that is tough to navigate unless you or someone else is familiar with. Additionally you get to ride the teleférico and check out the metro (subway) which is used by everyday Dominicans. (For extra you can get a boat ride too). So for that, I highly recommend, the insight in daily life is a must. The people are incredibly friendly and happy My only critique, the guides do need a little more information on certain topics but that segways into what I recommend for you the guest to do First, know some Spanish, it makes talking much easier. Two understand the area you’re going too. Understand that this is “the hood”, in other words a Lower class neighborhood. One that is also predominantly black with migrants too. This is important as remember, certain issues do affect this region tied to class, race, and nationality. It truly is a privilege and beauty to be take the tour. That understanding can go a long way in appreciating the beauty that exists in the barrio,
