Following that, we’ll visit the Temple and former Convent of Santo Domingo, which stands as one of the most impressive examples of 16th-century New Spanish architecture. This massive structure was partly built on a large pre-Columbian platform and partly on embankments, using technology that elevated it about 25 meters above the ground.
