Fun day with lots of activities; excellent guide - Edson, our guide, was terrific and we had a fun day exploring the beaches, historic sites, and learning about Brazil. Edson had a fabulous suggestion for lunch that we really enjoyed. A really enjoyable day in Brazil.

Bruno is the best! - The tour guide, Bruno, was amazing. He accommodated my schedule and was very informative and kept things entertaining. My only complaint is that I booked the trip for 7:00 and when tour guides started to contact me, the soonest that could be done was 8:30. Not the guide’s fault but the dispatcher/service. It ended up working out but could have been an issue on a tighter schedule. I can’t say enough about Bruno and it was a great day trip from São Paulo before I caught and evening flight home. Highly recommend!

Worthwhile taking this tour - I would like to thank my Guide (Mauro) for his flexibility, patience and knowledgeable explanations. Both Guaruya and Santos are worthwhile visiting from São-Paulo as the trip is not too long. Salt&City Tours Boss (Felipe) was very helpful while booking my trip, he adapted to my needs and tailored my tour consequently.

I took the tour on March 10th 2017... -
I took the tour on March 10th 2017 by myself as I was on business and looking for a day tour to the beach. My driver, Renato Crestinov was absolutely the best and made the tour very educational and safe. We went to the Cafe Museum and sipped on some expresso's amazing and strong. Afterwards, we were hungry and we stopped at Santos beach for some cheese bread there is no such thing as bad cheese bread in Brazil. Then, we took the ferry to Guaruja Beach - such a beautiful beach. After the beach, Renato took me around the major landmarks in downtown Sao Paulo. I had a great time and would highly recommend this tour if your looking for an affordable beach tour in Sao Paulo.

Mike

Highly overpriced! - The attractions were that I visited were great but the tour is way overpriced even for a private tour. I knew it didn't include anything when I booked but at the end of the day, I felt like I got ripped off. The driver skipped two stops and I didn't realize it until it was too late. When I mentioned it, he blew it off and said it's not much to see. Also, his main focus was getting to the beach to his friend's restaurant. I would've liked to pick my own restaurant but he said he made a reservation and the food is delicious. Being a foodie, I couldn't wait to get there. To my display, the food was horrible. I don't know how they did it but the grill fish was both fried and grilled. It was hard and unseasoned. White rice had no taste. To make it worse, I woke up sick the next day. Save your money! Do the group tour. If you decide to go with the private tour, walk along the boardwalk and choose your own restaurant. All in all, the tour is worth half of the price.
