Best Jeep Tour - This was my second time visiting the island and I’ve done many tours, including a variety of Jeep tours and I can hands down say the tour of the east with Nuno is the best one I’ve done yet! We really felt like we were taken out of the busy tourist areas and shown the best views of the island. He is laid back, informative, passionate for his work and proud of his island. Truly a must do and if you can request Nuno you should!

Fantastic off road experience in the forest - We went to explore the other side of the island. Julia picked us up from our hotel and we were off. Only 4 to our jeep us and another couple. Julia explained everything she was so easy to talk to and was so informative. I’m not the best when I’m not driving but I felt completely safe with her. We went to places that on our own we would never have found. The highlight of my day had to be the off road section. Stood in the back of the jeep driving through the forest with the wind blowing through my hair, I haven’t felt so relaxed and free in a long time. Then off for lunch which for a couple was 36 euro but could have fed a family of 4 to be fair. Then to see the traditional houses which we could go inside of one where we had a local home made drink waiting for us. I didn’t want the day to end it was fantastic. Highly recommended and when we come out to Madeira again we will definitely be exploring with this company again. Thanks Julia a fantastic day was had, you were amazing.

Fun times in Madeira - Fantastic day out. We really enjoyed it. Older or taller people probably would prefer the interior seats. The back is bumpy! 😆

A beautiful excursion that we will not forget and a big thank you to our guide Lino! - We did the Land Rover day trip. This was one of the best excursions I have had while abroad. Our guide Lino was great, he introduced us to the culture of Madeira as well as its history. A big thank you to Lino! 😀

Easy and North 4x4 Tour of Madeira - We had a fabulous day. It started from the moment our driver Miguel picked us up very promptly from our hotel in Funchal. Our whole family immediately warmed to Miguel, adopting him as our designated driver and trusted tour guide. We valued his local knowledge and good humour and he made our day extra special. We saw fantastic sights (iconic Santana houses, scenic views of Funchal as well as some of the best scenery the north and east of the island has to offer (see photos). We even stopped by Ronaldo’s house, but he wasn’t home. Food was not included in the price but we were taken to a really good restaurant where we were looked after very well at reasonable price with special consideration taken for our younger children. We highly recommend this trip if you want that little bit of extra attention to detail and care, as well as the joy of a bit of off-roading in the forest (my kids will never forget). Enjoy the poncho and the rum tasting! Highly recommend Miguel as a guide and he knows his poncho!

Great Day Out! - This was an excellent trip, some off-road tracks as well which was fun, our driver was really good and tried not to use main roads so lots of small, steep windy roads. We had local experiences of Poncho, 2 stops for this, a small rum factory with tasters and a lunch stop. We paid for our own drinks and lunch. The driver we had was Gerhard, he was very knowledgeable about the island and vegetation and stopped and showed us many things, and stopped at view points, he was very relaxed about what time we got back and just wanted to show us a good time. I think he was disappointed that the off-road tracks were quite dry as we were very clean at the end, even though he found as many puddles as he could! Would definitely do this again with Green Devil!

fabulous day out - We had a great day out with Diego our driver. We went to some fabululous places and he was so knowledgeable. There were plenty of stops for photos and we could take our time. He made our day fun and enjoyable. We stopped at the rum distillery and there was plenty of time to sample the rum plus a knowledgeable talk on the process to make it. We would definitely recommend doing this trip withn Green Devils and Diego

Great Day Out - We wanted to see some of Madeira that we couldn't get to on public buses. We were picked up by Hugo on time. There were 6 of us plus Hugo (Us from UK, 2 from Ireland, 1 from Switzerland and 1 from Portugal). We all got on really well and Hugo spoke English throughout. He was a font of knowledge about Madeira (he was born there), and knew all about the history. It was in a Land Rover (Discovery, I think) so not the most comfortable, but we had loads of stops to see the views, for coffee, lunch etc so it wasn't too bad. We also went to a Rum factory which was interesting (hic!!). All in all a very enjoyable day. It ended up being about 10 hours so you certainly get your monies worth.

Absolutely faultless! - I can honestly say this was such an amazing tour! The island was beautiful, amazing food, the locals were lovely and I can’t forget to give a special mention to Duarte our tour guide who was faultless! He knew so much about the island, vegetation, locals and even told us about his personal life experiences on the island he was truly exceptional. The jeep was so fun the bumpy rides up to the mountain top was unforgettable and will be a memory I take with me forever.
