We’ll start our journey in Funchal, and proceed to São Vicente on the North Coast. This region is renowned for its vineyards, volcanic caves and the production of Madeira table wine. Next, we’ll visit the lava pools at Seixal, which is home to one of the most well-known waterfalls named ‘Véu da Noiva’ due to its resemblance of a bride’s veil. Then, we’ll make a stop at the natural volcanic pools of Porto Moniz. This is one of the most frequented locations in Madeira where you can indulge in a swim in the crystal-clear waters and relish the stunning landscapes. Later, we’ll head up to Fanal, a site of unparalleled beauty nestled in the heart of the Laurissilva Forest, a Portugese national treasure and home to ancient trees. We then continue towards Paúl da Serra, the highest plateau on the island with elevations close to 1500 meters and breathtaking vistas. We’ll pause for lunch (not included) at a traditional Madeiran eatery. The final leg of our trip takes us to Cabo Girão, Europe’s tallest sea cliff and the world’s second highest at 589 meters. It’s most well known for its hanging glass floor viewpoint.
