I had a lot of fun... - I had a lot of fun exploring, and learning at the Ainu Cultural Center, and later wandering the gorgeous snowy onsen town of Jozankei. Scott, the tour guide, was incredibly friendly, well informed, and accommodating of my requests (I had a slight knee injury that slowed me down), imparting interesting little titbits of information about the places we visited, Hokkaido and Japan in general, including helpful advice about getting around and experiencing Japan. This tour is perfect for anyone looking for a day of relaxed sightseeing, with a well-researched and scheduled itinerary, that takes away the hassle of planning, and allows you to experience this part of Hokkaido from a slightly more local perspective than most. From a glimpse at incredible indigenous art and ingenuity, to picturesque bus routes (and bus stops), a traditional onsen lunch and a healing break at an outdoor footbath with a magical view of the snow, to trying for a little bit of good fortune at a shrine gatcha and so much more; it was a day well spent in Hokkaido.
