The hands-on soba-making portion lasts approximately 30 minutes, followed by a tasting session. The entire experience wraps up in about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Children are also welcome to join in the fun of soba noodle making.
*Note: As we operate as a traditional handmade soba restaurant during lunch hours, we may not be able to address inquiries on the same day. Furthermore, after dabbling in soba-making, the program involves savouring shabu-shabu and tempura made from Ezo deer meat—a Hokkaido exclusive—while the soba is being cooked. Shabu-shabu is an extremely well-liked dish in Japan, ranking in popularity next to sushi and tempura! Tempura, as we all know, is a defining component of Japanese cuisine. Savor these two delicacies with your very own handmade soba.
