Explore Yoichi & Shakotan Blue - We were only the 2 of us (due to Covid limited trip bokings) so we felt really personal and intimate. Beautiful scenery around Yoichi & Shakotan Blue enhanced by the explanations of the guide. The guide (Yama-san) has a very good English understanding so the communication was easy. It was very nice from him of taking pictures of us on the different locations. Being an all day tour, we had plenty of time at each stop to enjoy all there was to see and do (the guide adapted very well to our more "adventurer" personal expectations). Overall, a really nice and memorable experience. Highly recommended.

Amazing Place, Even More Amazing Guides - My girlfriend and I visited Shakotan in Summer when the waters were blue and crystal clear. The place was beautiful and there weren't too many tourists. If you decide to go down to the rocky coastline and do a bit of searching, you may find some cute critters like different species of starfish and urchins. The whiskey distillery was interesting too, though we weren't the drinking type. Probably the best part of our trip was our fantastic guides, Sam and Ruby (I think this is how her name is spelt). I usually don't like guided tours because I like to experience the place without listening to a stranger, but Sam and Ruby were such great people to chat with. They are the main reason why I would recommend this tour over other Shakotan tours.
