- Konjic - Konjic is a charming town situated in northern Herzegovina, approximately 60 kilometers (37 miles) southwest of Sarajevo. Nestled in a mountainous, densely forested region, it stands at an elevation of 268 meters (879 feet) above sea level.
Konjic Stara Ćuprija (Old Bridge) was constructed between 1682 and 1683 by Ali-aga Hasečić, as indicated by a stone plaque at the bridge’s center. It features six slightly pointed stone arches and is the best-preserved Ottoman bridge in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The arches were destroyed by the retreating German army in March 1945, but the bridge was meticulously rebuilt to its original design between 2003 and 2009. It is now recognized as a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Blagaj - Blagaj Tekija is a Dervish monastery near Mostar, Bosnia, with a history spanning nearly 600 years. Located at the base of a cliff, adjacent to the source of the Buna River, it presents a unique and picturesque series of buildings that are even more impressive in person than in photographs.
The Tekija (or Tekke) was initially established during the peak of the Ottoman Empire. Over time, rock slides necessitated extensive repairs and reconstruction of the buildings. Today, largely due to the efforts of a Turkish travel agency, the Tekke closely resembles its original appearance.
- River Buna Spring - Vrelo Bune is a natural and architectural ensemble situated at the spring of the Buna River near Blagaj, a village-town, and is part of the broader “Townscape ensemble of the town of Blagaj — Historical and Natural Heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
- Mostar - The historic town of Mostar, located in a deep valley of the Neretva River, developed in the 15th and 16th centuries as an Ottoman frontier town and during the Austro-Hungarian period in the 19th and 20th centuries. Mostar has long been celebrated for its old Turkish houses and the Old Bridge, Stari Most, after which it is named. However, during the 1990s conflict, much of the historic town and the Old Bridge, designed by the renowned architect Sinan, was destroyed. The Old Bridge has since been reconstructed, and many of the buildings in the Old Town have been restored or rebuilt with the assistance of an international scientific committee established by UNESCO.
- Pocitelj - Step into history in this captivating medieval town. Wander through its cobbled streets, explore centuries-old stone fortifications, and admire the well-preserved Ottoman architecture, all set amidst stunning natural surroundings.
- Neretva River - According to legend, when the ancient Illyrians saw the emerald green river, they exclaimed Nera – Etwa!, meaning “Divinity that flows.” With its 230 km long journey from the source to the confluence with the Adriatic Sea, the Neretva has carved a narrow canyon where the sky appears as a tiny blue ring.
- Kravice Falls - Experience the Kravice Waterfalls, a breathtaking natural oasis where cascading turquoise waters are surrounded by lush greenery—a perfect spot for relaxation and stunning photography.
