Eye opening, though, very well worth the visit. - My experience was: emotionally though, eye opening, shocking and reminded me that what is the price that civilians have to pay in war. Human nature is capable of reducing the enemy to the level if animals and do similar things what happened during the holocaust and other genocides. The guide who sells the tickets answered all my questions which I had about the historical and political circumstances which led to the events of the war. I might go one more time if I will visit Sarajevo again. It’s not for everyone, but I think this is something everyone needs to see.

Museum of Genocide - Baščaršija - This is certainly one of the best and most valuable museums I have visited so far. Walking through it, one can in some way experience all the horrors and horrors that people experienced during the war. I believe that everyone should come here, because here you can find out about some things that a person cannot even imagine could have happened.

A punch in the stomach, not to be missed. - We started our visit to Sarajevo from this museum, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The museum is a punch in the stomach, which is needed to enter this city. Exhaustive from a historical point of view, shocking from a human rights point of view. The visit is worth it, especially so as not to forget.

A must see museum - The horrific events are depicted using photos, movies, objects owned by the victims and their families. Survivors testimonies are painful to hear, but the world should acknowledge this history and never repeat it The large timetable allows late visitors.

How nationalism leads to horror - A thoughtful exhibition tracing the many, many atrocities that happened in BiH during the last war. It's easy to forget when you're enjoying a walk in Baščaršija of the terrible damage inflicted on men, women and children. But the activities of the Serb aggressors are within living memory. It is important to bear witness and not forget. But quite how anyone could have done what this museum shows beats me.

A Story That Needs To Be Heard And Shared - A very moving series of exhibits and videos/photographs telling the story of a situation that I watched unfold on television in England. Visiting the museum and Sarajevo itself gave me a better context to the story of a horrific time in this beautiful part of the world. Thank you.

Great museum. Great staff. - Very interesting museum but the staff is the best part. Very well read persons working there. I recommend this museum if you are in Sarajevo for a couple of days.

Interesting museum - A lot of reading in this museum but good to get civilian stories and ideas of the war time. This voucher allowed me to pay in Euro instead of local currency since I was running low on cash.

Emotionally draining but very informative - Just saw the galerija then came here. Already emotionally drained but this was well done in a different way. You can't take in every artefact but you feel the effect of those tortured and harmed during the war and genocide. I like the post it's, they need to be seen a read by more than tourists. I have now both a better understanding but also more linked feeling.
