Additional Information

Feeling overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of the city? Consider escaping to the untouched beauty of Mount Trebević via a scenic cable car ride. This popular locale is an oasis for city dwellers seeking fresh air and breathtaking city views. Rich in Slavic mythology, Mount Trebević is known as a place of sacrifice, and in more recent history, it is recognized as one of the four Olympic Mountains. The 1984 Winter Olympics were notable for being the first conducted in a socialist state and in a Slavic-speaking nation. Moreover, the Sarajevo games remain unique as the only Olympic Games ever held by a member of the Non-Aligned Movement and in a city with a Muslim-majority population. Enjoy a stroll down the bobsled track, take in the vibrant graffiti art, savor a cup of coffee, and liberate your spirit.

Do it!!! - Well worth the moderate price. I really enjoyed the cable car ride and the bobsled track was super interesting. Just remember: The further you walk down the bobsled track, the tougher your walk back up will be...

Amazing time in Bosnia - Amazing tour which included the Olympic village, a Gastronomic adventure and some great nature hiking. Safet was a very knowledgeable guide in the area as well as its history. A local tour like I have never seen before, learning about the area, sampling home cooked food and giving us some great information for the rest of our time In old town Sarajevo. An artist, a jazz connoisseur, an all around great guy and guide. Highly recommend if you want to really see Sarajevo like a local. Thank you Safet.

Good way to see more of the city from above and enjoy some countryside - We enjoyed the walk to the cable car, chatting with our guide. The journey up and down gave some good views - despite the fog on the day we went! We liked the walk along the bob slede run and seeing the colurful graffiti and then visited a hotel at the top for a well earned rest after walking and visiting view points. Our guide was friendly and informative, so despite a bit of rain and fog we enjoyed the experience.

The ultimate tour - Went in July, on a very hot day, but no don’t worry - the tour starts at 10 am and lasts for around 3 hours and there will be lots of shade along the way! Alem was a flawless guide, super nice and easy to connect to; he is extremely knowledgeable and can talk through the history of Sarajevo in a very casual yet fact-based way. I was fortunate to get a completely private tour, was worried that they would cancel me if no one else showed up, but instead Alem made a fully tailor-made tour and I’m super happy that I went on this. I definitely recommend taking this tour (and I say that as someone who normally prefers to explore on my own) and will make sure my friends who visit Sarajevo signs up for this one too!

Beautiful experience in the snow - We went up to Trebević in April when it was snowing a lot and it was absolutely magical! Our guide Merjem spoke perfect English (but they also speak very good German in this company) and walked with us through the deep snow and told us everything we wanted to know about the history of the place and Bosnian life in general. We got some hot drinks and decided to stay behind on the mountain after the tour ended, because it was so beautiful! It was flexible, personal and easy!

Awesome! - My guide Medina was awesome! She spoke perfect English and was very insightful of her experiences growing up and living in Sarajevo. The cable cars were not running the day of my tour but she was able to give me a city walking tour instead to make use of the time which was more than sufficient! It was nice to be able to see the city and I got to try Bosnian coffee the proper way in a local cafe. I highly recommend this tour and tour company to anyone who needs an Olympic Tour or a City Tour.
