Very informative tour in a small group - This tour is very informative and allowed me to better understand the impact the war had on the population but also the current political situation. The tour is run with a van and the fact that we were a small group helped us get to places ahead of the crowd. First we visited the Tunnel of Hope, then we drove to the former Olympic bobsleigh track. We made a few stops to make panoramic photos of the city. We also visited the Jewish cemetery and the fortress. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it.

A must-do in Sarajevo! - We decided to do this tour last minute and it was the best decision ever made. The tour was very well organised and thoughtful, full of important places that otherwise we would have not visited. Mak is a special guide and person who will explain everything and more to you mixing history, culture and personal stories. He was always making sure of our understanding and comfort. This tour will always be remembered in our minds and hearts, grazie Mak!

A personal take on war. - Mak took us on a tour that was both historic and personal. Integrating sites, a film and personal experience made this a unique and highly emotional experience. The Tunnel of Hope should not be missed. It is a symbol of resistance and hope.

Must do tour of Sarajevo - Our guide, Mak, was exceptionally thorough and detailed in his knowledge of both the war but also about the country’s current demographics and political situation. He confidently answered our questions about wider contexts while also sharing his personal and incredibly moving family story about Sarajevo. We saw a lot all across the city but also had free time to explore some sights. Honestly one of the best tours we’ve ever been on - we’d thoroughly recommend it!

Great trip, where you get to see “everything”! - Incredibly nice tour with explanation of the war in Sarajevo, how it started, how life was during the war and the tour and the places we were shown were put together in a very good way so that one understood how cruel and difficult it must have been during the siege. Very knowledgeable guide who explained well and shared by his own personal stories and how it has affected him and his family in recent times. You also get an understanding of why Bosnia is what it is today and what problems it brings. Warmly recommended! If you are going to have only one tour in Sarajevo sp I recommend this!
