Wonderful tour. Not to be missed! - This tour was an absolute highlight of our trip to Bosnia! I can't recommend it enough - a definite 5-star experience. Do not leave Sarajevo without taking this excursion. Our guide, Mark, was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable. As someone who lived through the siege himself, his personal anecdotes truly brought history to life. He painted a vivid picture of what it was like to endure those difficult times. We now had a better appreciation for the resilience of the people of Sarajevo and insights into their multi-cultural society. The tour was well-planned, allowing us to see key monuments and sites that were central to the siege and we treated with many nice view of the city. I also want to express my gratitude to the tour company for very kindly accommodated our last-minute request to postpone the tour by a day when our flight was delayed. Their understanding ensured we didn't miss out on this incredible experience.

If you do any Sarajevo tour, this is the one not to miss - This tour is a must for anyone traveling to Sarajevo. It is so important to learn from survivors of war, to hear their stories and the impact war had on their lives, their families lives and their country. Our host, Mac, has a masters in history and was a survivor of the Sarajevo war. Every second of the tour was filled with valuable information and context that helped up understand all the parts of this tragic history BUT also the heroic people who sacrificed their lives to protect their family and fellow Bosnians. You learn about this in the Tunnel of Hope/Tunnel of Life, how it was constructed and the lifeline it gave to Bosnians. Mac takes you to all the important parts throughout the city where the war happened and gave life through stories of the everyday people who were impacted, including himself and family. I cannot recommend this tour enough. There is so much parallel to the war that happened here and every other conflict happening in the world. We must all learn the impact of war from survivors so we do not repeat the past.

Don't miss it! - a tour you absolutely must not miss. Mak is an exquisite person, not only with great experience, but above all with great humanity and competence. he managed to make me understand and discover facts about the history of Sarajevo in a simple, but very exhaustive way and all seasoned with his own personal experience. Mak takes you on a journey back in time to the present day and the current situation. for me it was extremely instructive and enlightening.

Mak is exceptional- book this tour - If you are considering booking a tour in Sarajevo you need to book this tour. Mak, our guide, was the most intelligent, thoughtful and knowledgeable tour guide i have ever had the pleasure of being on a tour with. He put so much effort into ensuring we learned about the finer details, he clearly has a passion for educating. I am very glad we were able to have him as our guide. Mak thank you so much for giving your time to talk about the most traumatic part of your country's history. Considering he is talking about the most heinous things that happened to Bosnian people and it personally affected him, I cannot commend Mak enough.

Don’t Miss this tour! - Do not hesitate taking this tour! Our guide Mac, was just fantastic! He was so precise with timing, checking that we understood what he was sharing and the things/stories he shared with us were so deeply personal to the region’s history that I don’t know how you come away not changed by Sarajevo. It was really a very poignant tour and I’m so glad I went!
