Delicious, engaging, enlightening food & crafts tour with Hanan - I had a delightful morning with Hanan, guiding me and just one other guest on a tour of the food and crafts of Sarajevo. She is a lovely, positive, intelligent young women, with native-level English skills. Despite the rain, she led us like a pro and was very generous with her time, extending the experience beyond the designated schedule. Some highlights included the food market (the cheese and meats!!), a gorgeous bakery (that I returned to on my own), a restaurant with traditional cooked dishes, cevapcici from a local haunt, Bosnian coffee and baklava. In between the food stops, we had an opportunity to digest a bit as we visited local craftsmen and women, who are (against all odds and with no government support) keeping up the old traditions--in copper making, slipper making, brush making (and he is 1 of only 4 craftspeople in all of the Balkans still doing it the old way). In addition to learning about their crafts, I enjoyed hearing about the personal stories and journeys. All the while, Hanan was available to translate and answer any questions about Bosnian culture. Highly recommend!

Wonderful & wholesome experience in Sarajevo - We had the most amazing time on this tour!! Hanan was so knowledgeable, kind & upbeat. We loved hearing about each item of food and craft and it was such a great way to see Sarajevo. My highlight was the Bosnian Coffee at the end and my friend’s highlight was the cheese & cured meats at the market. 10/10 would recommend.

Fun, filling, and informative tour - This tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Sarajevo -- it was informative, fun, and extremely filling. :) Our tour guide, Agna, covered everything from the history of Sarajevo to the preparation of different Bosnian dishes to the meaning of graffiti on the old town walls. She even recommended additional restaurants, shops, and museums to visit after the tour! She was also willing to adapt the stops as necessary to suit different food restrictions or preferences (e.g. vegetarians). I'd happily do this tour again.

Food and culture - Thanks to Kiki for a wonderful guided tour og her home town Sarajevo. Stopped at lots of local places for very tasty and varied foods. Weather was very hot, but we coped with it. Pace was good and my only complaint was there was too much food!!! This is a must do when you visit.

You won’t be disappointed on this experience. - From the moment we meet our guide Emina her Passion for Sarajevo and her country Bosnia was so apparent we stopped to eat delicious local foods and went on a culinary journey through the city with a prefect balance of history culture and explanation of the sights we visited. There was no one sidedness of the different cultures in the city we visited the Cathedral’s and the mosques with equal enthusiasm but above all the food was amazing and coffee just amazing now I know how to drink it properly. To sum up well worth the price a great 4 hours spent with an amazing ambassador to Sarajevo we will take away found memories and certainly recommend Sarajevo to our friends. Darran and Maria “ hvala ti”

A great tour which was expertly led. - A great tour that had a good mix of food and craft. It was expertly led by Vildan who had great knowledge and a locals perspective who we were able to ask anything about the country and history. This is the third tour we've done with Meet Bosnia Tours over the last three years and they've all been very good! All I would say is you don't need to eat before going on the tour!

Great way to see other side of the old town and taste it! - This was a very good tour. My tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I was the only person in the tour. I felt I was visiting Sarajevo with a relative. It was a good way to see other places in the old town and taste some very good food. I also saw some crafts shops which were interesting.

Amazing tour with Arna! - My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and crafts tour with Arna. She is a very sweet, kind, and knowledgeable guide. Arna took us to the best spots to try various local foods, as well as recommendations to try at a later time. The next day, we went to some of those recommendations! We loved the local markets we went to! I would highly recommend anyone to try this tour, but make sure you arrive hungry! Thanks again, Arna for a wonderful day!
