Highlights
  • Konjic - Konjic is a town located in northern Herzegovina, around 60 kilometres (37 mi) southwest of Sarajevo. It is a mountainous, heavily wooded area, and is 268 m (879 ft) above sea level.

Konjic Stara Ćuprija (Old Bridge) was built between 1682 and 1683 by Ali-aga Hasečić (as shown by a stone plaque at the center of the bridge). It was built over six slightly pointed stone arches. It is the best preserved Ottoman bridge in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The arches were destroyed by the retreating German army in March 1945. The bridge was rebuilt in its original state between 2003 and 2009. The bridge is now proclaimed a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

  • Jablanica - Jablanica is a town and municipality located in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated on the Neretva river and Jablanica lake.

During the Battle of the Neretva in 1943, Jablanica was the site of a successful raid by a group of Partisans led by Josip Broz Tito. A rail bridge over the river was blown up while a train was in the middle of crossing. There is a park and monument commemorating this action at the site. The bridge section and the locomotive which can still be seen in the river gorge are the remains of a film set depicting the battle, from the 1960s.

  • Blagaj - Blagaj Tekija is a Dervish monastery outside Mostar, Bosnia, that’s nearly 600 years old. Situated at the base of a cliff, next to the source of the river Buna, it’s a unique and picturesque series of buildings that looks even better in person than it does in pictures.

The Tekija (or Tekke) was first founded during the height of the Ottoman empire. Time and rock slides have led to extensive repairs and reconstruction to the buildings. Today, thanks largely to a Turkish travel agency, the Tekke looks mostly as it did in the past.

  • River Buna Spring - Vrelo Bune is a natural and architectural ensemble located at the spring of the Buna River near Blagaj, a village-town, and is part of the wider “Townscape ensemble of the town of Blagaj — Historical and Natural Heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina”
  • Neretva River - According to the legend, when the old Illyrians saw the emerald green river, they shouted Nera – Etwa!, which means ‘’Divinity that flows’’. With its 230 km long path from the source to the confluence with the Adriatic Sea, Neretva has formed a narrow canyon from which the sky looks like a tiny blue ring.
  • Zip Line Fortica - Skywalk at Fortica is a new tourist attraction of Mostar.

About 15 meters high above the slopes of Fortica, a walking space about 35 meters long, will enrich the tourist offer of the city on the Neretva River and provide completely new experiences to visitors.

  • Mostar - The historic town of Mostar, spanning a deep valley of the Neretva River, developed in the 15th and 16th centuries as an Ottoman frontier town and during the Austro-Hungarian period in the 19th and 20th centuries. Mostar has long been known for its old Turkish houses and Old Bridge, Stari Most, after which it is named. In the 1990s conflict, however, most of the historic town and the Old Bridge, designed by the renowned architect Sinan, was destroyed. The Old Bridge was recently rebuilt and many of the edifices in the Old Town have been restored or rebuilt with the contribution of an international scientific committee established by UNESCO.

Excellent service on a private excursion - Listening service provider; excellent organization and good advice for a tailor-made circuit. Our guide, Safet Begic, very friendly, was particularly pleasant and interesting, taking all the time necessary; his English is perfect. Thanks again

The best way to see Mostar from Sarajevo - I can’t recommend this enough! Our tour guide Miralem went above and beyond for us. We were the only ones on this trip that day, so it gave a more exclusive feel and Miralem did a wonderful job talking about Bosnia’s history and nature as we went from stop to stop. If I knew he was involved in another future tour, it would be an easy choice - he makes you feel more like a friend than a guest over the course of the near 10 hours on the tour. If you have an experience like we did, you won’t regret it!

Brilliant - Our guide was Emina Koso. We had a brilliant time on our trip to Mostar and other cities. She was informative and friendly - it was fascinating to learn about her experiences growing up in Sarajevo during the war. She was flexible when we asked for an extra hour in Mostar. Would highly recommend.

Travel Guide Emir - The day trip was simply great! This was primarily due to our wonderful guide Emir, whom I can highly recommend to everyone. He is incredibly responsive to his guests' wishes, never rushes them and is the perfect example of a host that everyone could wish for. It felt like a trip among friends. We almost forgot that Emir was "only" our tour guide for one day. Thank you so much Emir for such a great day! You should give courses for aspiring tour guides!!! Emir leads in German and English.

Mostar bridge - It was an amazing tour, Emina Koso is an amazing tour guide. During the road, we shared so many and learnt from each other a lot. The places we visit have great natural beauties, wonderful food, too much history and Emina made them even better with her know how. We never got bored because she knows about almost everything :) We could not stop ourselves taking photos of every corner. We share some of them with you :) We were very lucky to have this tour with Emina and see the professional jumpers from Mostar bridge.

Awesome and well prepared excursion to Mostar. - We started in time close to the agency office with a hearty welcome. The transfer from Sarajevo was comfortable and safe. The visited places and towns (Kravice, Monstar, Konjic, Blagaj) were amazing as well as the landscape we passed. Emina filled up the whole tour with her life experience from the past and helped to understand the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is always helpful and well prepared and tries hard to give best advices. However, she will give you also the freedom to explore on your own! I definitely have to recommend the tour to Mostar and all the other beautiful places together with Emina.
