Tour of Sarajevo - We had the most moving and informative guide in Sarajevo. Amir Telibećirović is a local guide we found through a Rick Steves travel book. He is a journalist, tour guide and survivor of the siege of Sarajevo ('92-'96). We arranged a private tour with him for ourselves and one other couple. He took us through the history of the country (pre-Yugoslavia) as well as the siege and post war progress. I cannot recommend him more highly. Our tour was definitely one of the highlights of our 2 week trip! You can reach him by e-mail: [email protected]

Walking through history with an enthusiastic local!!! - Emina was charming and knowledgeable with excellent English. She is very enthusiastic about her native city. We met a coppersmith who demonstrated his art in a shop originally owned by his father. It was very interesting to see how he worked with different metals. He was masterful. We learned about Muslim customs, the East/West divide, the assignation that started the Great War and so very much more! And what fun!

A very worthwhile tour - Emina, our guide, was very helpful and well-informed. The tour give us an insight into the history and culture of Sarajevo I just don't think we would have got just from wandering around by ourselves and the guidebooks.

Diverse Sarajevo - I had a wonderful day touring around Sarajevo with Hafiza. She was extremely kind, welcoming, and highly knowledgeable. Hafiza guided me to all the top sites, really homing in on the exclusivity of the city, society, shops, and art. She gave me tips on places to eat as well as other aspects to check out after the tour. Hafiza was great to talk to, easy going and taught me so many things I didn't know about various religions in this area. It was a day well spent and I look forward to coming back to Sarajevo again! Thanks again Hafiza!

Best way to get to know Sarajevo - What a wonderful and unforgettable experience! Hafiza is such a special person and an amazing guide. She explained so many interesting things about Sarajevo. Everything I learned in this tour was very new and interesting to me, now I feel so much closer to the county and people. I would definitely want to come back to Sarajevo, thanks to her. Hafiza, I will be your guide if you come to Japan one day! 100% recommended for everyone visiting in Sarajevo. You will have a great experience.

Amazing tour and guide - Great. Wonderful Hafiza guide, super clear, patient, and with lots of information about religion and the city of Sarajevo. There are guides who talk very quickly and she is super patient, she repeated, and explained very well. We visited several places on foot and she explained the culture of the place. I highly recommend Guia Hafiza, of all the guides (there were 4) on my trip, it was the one I liked the most.
