Eye-opening educational - We did the Fall of Yugoslavia tour with Ayub. He was very knowledgeable and passionate and explained everything thoroughly. We wouldn't of known so much history about the genocide in Bosnia without Ayub's detailed explanations and hos he cleverly drew parallels to similar genocides going on in the world today such as the one in Palestine. Most importantly, I would highly recommend this tour - it is definitely eye-opening.

Top tour of Sarajevo - The knowledge and enthusiasm from the tour guide (who’s name sadly I’ve forgotten) made the tour a very poignant few hours realising what the people endured for 4 years

Very interesting and heartfelt tour. - We loved Sarajevo and it was our favourite stop on our trip around the former Yugoslavia. A real hidden gem city that deserves to be seen! This tour was one we had been feeling emotional about as the history involved is very tough and we had already taken in a lot on our trip and this was our final stop, but what a moving and rewarding tour with our excellent tour guide whose name I didn't catch, but a young man in his early 30s who was born during the Bosnian War. To say he is a knowledgeable tour guide isn't enough as he is knowledgeable through experience which means a lot more. He shared some of his own life/family stories and it was very interesting, but also very tough. I think the triumph of will and human spirit means a lot and I seen a lot of that also. We stopped at the Yellow Fortress for amazing views across Sarajevo and a great introduction from our tour guide. The Tunnel Of Hope Museum would have been interesting to just visit, but after listening to our tour guide telling us about the Siege of Sarajevo and his own personal story we were simply bowled over and couldn't have really taken it in without his words. The stop at the abandoned bobsleigh track with all the graffiti was also very interesting and made you wonder how a venue for the winter Olympics could become a warzone ignored by the super powers for too long just a few years later? Despite the serious tone of the tour I thought our tour guide was a cool guy also with a good sense of humour and was happy to help out with pictures also. We visited four countries on our trip around the former Yugoslavia. This was our favourite tour that we did. The most moving tour we ever did actually. Thanks from the Irish couple.
