Best way to understand Sarajevo over the last few decades - The tour was fantastic, an amazing guide who was only too happy to answer all the questions that we had. The tour covers large sections of the city & some areas I wouldn’t have thought to visit. It was great to have that insight. The day I went it was raining & as a minibus takes you around, this was actually a great tour for a rainy day. It’s not clear on the listing, but you actually get a long time to look around the airport tunnel museum. The bobsled track is surrounded by beautiful forest and the graffiti art that adorns it now is good. It was amazing how much of the city the tour covers & just how much of the city you understand afterwards. I’d highly recommend this as a starting point when you visit. The tour is excellent.

Fantastic tour - Alan was an absolutely fantastic guide. He clearly explained the events leading up to and during the siege of Sarajevo, and thoughtfully answered all of the many questions we had. He was also a very careful driver which we really appreciated. Thank you for a great afternoon! Claire and David

Excellent tour! - Ago was a fantastic guide. He gave us a detailed account of the Bosnian war including some personal experiences. Everything ran on time and the tour company were well organised. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn about the Bosnian war. The tunnel of hope is also very difficult to reach via public transport it makes sense to visit as part of a tour.

Impressed with Fall of Yugoslavia Tour. - We were impressed with the fall of Yugoslavia tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kind. We were running a bit late due to heavy traffic, but it didn't stress him out and he did not shorten our tour, which we appreciated. We enjoyed the personal stories of our guide and the fact that we could ask him questions about the war. Our two teenagers (15 and 16) found the tour very interesting and although they see stories about current wars on TV, this brought it all very close and real to them. We can highly recommend this tour.

A must-do to kick off your trip to Sarajevo! - I did the Sarajevo siege tour with Armin as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a fantastic tour! It was highly informative and also personal, since he told us stories about his family but also our funny driver Faruk. He told us about his experiences during the war and this way you can truly feel the siege. The tour was a mix of history, local knowledge and personal stories to keep our group entertained and engaged throughout. The drive, the personal conversations, the stops and the background stories, everything was great! After the tour Armin gave us recommendations for eating and I must say that he has good taste: it was delicious. The Sarajevo siege tour is a must-do and a great way to kick off a trip to Sarajevo! Hvala za sve Armin i Faruk! Untill we meet again!

Very insightful tours of Sarajevo - We participated in two tours organised by Meet Bosnia Tours - Free walking tour with Alan, and the Siege of Sarajevo with Tarik. Both tours were educational and interesting, while Alan and Tarik were great tour guides being very knowledgeable. We sincerely recommend attending one of these tours!

Must do in Sarajevo - The tour was brilliantly run by our tour guide Eyub who was very engaging, knowledgeable and passionate. We cannot thank him enough for his time and insights into this difficult part of history and how it still affects life today. The tour didn’t feel rushed at all. A must do when visiting Sarajevo to truly appreciate recent Bosnian history.
