Definitely recommend! - After we were absolutely pleased with the Mostar tour we have done with Meet Bosnia the previous day, we have decided to join the Srebrenica tour on February 2nd 2025 to fully understand the history of the tragic events that Bosnia had to endure not too long ago. We felt it was only right to explore this side of Bosnia too whilst we were visiting and although it was a very insightful and hearttouching experience, we were incredibly happy we got to visit Srebrenica. We'd like to thank Meet Bosnia and our tour guide Vedad for providing their excellent service. Our guide was very easy to talk to and shared a lot of information and experiences with us, which helped us prepare for the memorial. The driving was very calm and comfortable, which allowed us to catch up on sleep during the car journey. In the end, our tour guide recommended us a great restaurant and we were amazed by how delicious the food was! We'd like to thank Meet Bosnia and our tourguide Vedad for making this sad but insightful topic such a great memory for us.

Great tour - 100% recommend! - The Srebrenica Genocide Memorial is very worth visiting. Our guide is wonderful, explaining the historical background and sharing his personal story in this sad conflict. I had adequate time to go through all the exhibits in the museum. The tour guide also brought us to a nice local restaurant after visiting the museum. Would recommend everyone who visits the country to join this day trip! This tragedy deserves to be known by more people, especially in this age full of wars and conflicts.

Moving experience - Great place to be educated. Very touching and moving experience. Very sad for what happened in Srebrenica. Hope nothing like this ever happens. The video is a bit long and repetitive.

Visiting Srebrenica with Almir - Almir was a gracious and generous guide. He provided excellent information about many aspects of the recent Bosnian history and sociopolitics. Everything was superbly organized and went very well. Visiting Srebrenica is visceral experience and I am glad that we were able to witness and learn more about this dark side of humanity.

Outstanding - I visited Srebrenica with Meet Bosnia Tours. Everything was outstanding. From the point I walked in to the office and helped by the professional, knowledgeable and serviceminded girls to the tour itself. Our guide was fanstastic and shared his experience from the war and responding to all my questions. He seemed to love what he was doing and made sure we all had a good time. Thank you for giving me the chance to learn about a sad but important part of your contrys history.

You have to take this tour! - This trip was extremely eye-opening and poignant, but one you must do to truly understand its impacts. We went with the lovely Almir, who went out of his way to make us feel welcomed. It was saddening to hear of his personal experiences of the genocide and the impacts it's had on him and others we also spoke to at the memorial. The museum and trip were really well planned and laid out, and gave us the time to explore and educate ourselves on the genocide and the global failures in preventing it. We also had the chance to visit the Srebrenica cemetery, where we were given the time to reflect on the awful events and ask questions to Almir, who provided concise, detailed responses to whatever we asked of him. I highly recommend taking this tour to broaden your understanding of this tragic genocide and to learn more first hand from survivors.

Visiting the Srebrenica... - Visiting the Srebrenica Genocide Memorial and Museum was a profoundly moving and essential experience. The sheer scale of the cemetery, with its rows upon rows of white headstones marking the final resting place of over 8,000 victims, is deeply affecting. The museum itself provides a comprehensive and chilling account of the 1995 genocide. The exhibits are well-presented, with a mix of historical documents, photographs, personal testimonies, and multimedia displays. The museum effectively conveys the horror of the events, while also offering valuable historical context and exploring the broader themes of war, genocide, and the importance of human rights. However, what truly elevated our experience was our tour guide and driver, Ago. He was incredibly friendly, informative, and insightful. We had engaging discussions on various subjects, including the history of Bosnia, current political realities, and everyday life in the country. Ago's insights provided valuable context and enriched our understanding of the events and their lasting impact. Visiting this memorial is not easy, but it is a crucial reminder of the devastating consequences of hatred and violence. It is a place for reflection, remembrance, and a commitment to working towards a more just and peaceful world. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you have the opportunity to experience it with Ago.

(Nevertheless venture out if you speak English it goes without saying given the option chosen)
