Excellent experience - Our guide was so generous and knowledgeable, as were the guides at the memorial. I learnt so much and had the most amazing day. That sounds odd, given the subject matter of the day, but it gave me a much deeper understanding and respect for the people of this country.

Srebenica - Almir was our guide. A survivor. His way of telling us of not only what happened to him and his family but also to his friends and others brought tears to my eyes. He had so much to tell and I know I could have listened to him again and again. What you feel when visiting Srebenica is nothing compared to what they have gone through but you can at least start to understand the complexities. A visit to Srebrenica is a must and a day was not enough.

Excellent tour! It’s important for everyone to learn Bosnia’s history. - I encourage anyone who is visiting Bosnia to do this tour, no matter where you are from or if you are traveling to Bosnia for fun it’s very important to learn the history. The genocide that took place in Bosnia is silenced enough and was hidden and not cared about in the media as well as not taught much in schools in America especially. Where do I even start…. our guide was Almir and was the most wonderful person to have on this tour. He spoke perfect english and me and my brother went on the tour to learn more about our peoples history, his story brought tears to our eyes. It was incredible to hear how much knowledge Almir had based on exact dates, names, etc. Me and my brother of course knew about the genocide Bosnians went through but Almir brought a whole new perspective of it as well as teaching us numerous different information. The car ride went by incredibly fast because of how captivating Almir was and how well of a story teller he is. The memorial of Srebrenica had heart breaking images, videos, audios and information where you can learn a ton about what occurred. Also visiting the graveyard really hit me, being able to see so many graves was absolutely heart breaking. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to go on this tour and encourage everyone to.

10/10 Would Recommend - It was Almir’s second day in this new job and he has already established himself as a great guide. It’s one thing to visit a place because of its history, but listening to personal experiences is something entirely apart. Really showcases how resilient the people have remained, despite the wrongdoings in their recent history. He was truly helpful and flexible. And made time to answer every question we had, while also driving and showing great spots to have lunch. He has a great personality - really extroverted so I hope you like to talk lol. He even helped if you have problems with cash payment (which is the norm in these countries). Overall: 10/10 would recommend🤗

Amazing day all round thanks to our brilliant tour guide - Our tour guide Ago made us feel immediately looked after and in good hands with his warmth and friendliness. Throughout the drive to Srebrenica, he shared lots of information with us and was really happy to answer our questions too. The tour was well planned out and we had enough time at each of the destinations, with Ago being extremely communicative throughout about the plan. Overall, the experience was unforgettable; the memorial museum was incredibly moving and informative, and visiting the cemetery was a surreal but necessary experience. Ago was a fantastic tour guide and his passion and care for the history he shared was very obvious!

Excellent guide, thought provoking visit. - What a brilliant tour and thought provoking day. Our guide, Ago, was fantastic: he had lots of stories to tell, spoke brilliant English, and had an incredible depth of knowledge. He was flexible with how much time we wanted to spend in the Srebrenica memorial centre and was very friendly. I would say this is an essential trip to take for anyone interested in history and the conflict in the 1990s. Could not recommend this agency and our guide enough!

Take the tour! - Our guide was absolutely incredible! We learnt so much about the history of Bosnia, and gained a much deeper understanding of what actually took place during the 92-95 war. It’s so very important to learn about this kind of history, and hear survivors stories, as horrific as they are. Especially when many people continue to deny that this genocide ever happened.
