Insightful and historically important tour. - The Museum of the Srebrenica Genocide not only informed of the full series of events but detailed very well the intimate stories of the victims - this tour helps to understand the complicated modern situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Unforgettable experience, amazing tour by Ibrahim - As someone who went to Srebrenica thinking I knew the basics, this study tour really does open your eyes to just how severe, intense and desperate the situation was. No book, website or museum outside of Srebrenica can convey the emotion of what happened in July 1995. However, another highlight of our tour was our guide, Ibrahim, he really was amazing. Open to questions, answering with great detail, information and insight and helping us understand what life was like during the war but particularly what happened in Srebrenica. A final note - to see Srebrenica as it is today is painful but a fitting close to the tour. The town, with many abandoned buildings, has a certain charm about it and it's actually quite unbelievable that such an innocent town - and country - could be put on the world map for such tragic reasons. If you are in Bosnia and Herzegovina, you absolutely MUST do this tour.

More than satisfied - Went to Mostar and Screbrenica via DB. What a very special experience this was. Pace was perfect. Being able to see a lot without getting tired. Mostar and the sights (nature, waterfalls, castle) were breathtaking. The driver was very skilled and the guide was also very knowledgeable. And booking the trip also went very well. They thought along and did everything they could to make my trip possible. Screbrenica was the reason for the trip to Bosnia. This was extra impressive because of the tour guide. Next time (and that will certainly come) I will book again through Balkan Tours.

Must do - It’s one thing to read about it or see a museum exhibit, but it’s a whole different experience to physically be there. The tour really left its mark and I’m grateful I was able pay respects and learn more about such a tragic part of our history. Regarding the guide himself he was fantastic. He was super informative and he shared his perspectives and experiences as an 18 year old fighting in Sarajevo. He was always happy to answer our questions and took good care of us and catered to our individual interests. For example, I was interested in visiting the main mosque in Srebenica town and he was happy to take the small diversion. On top all this, he was just a really interesting person that was easy to talk to and learn from. I would highly, highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Unforgettable - Important as tragic as the event was to witness and absorb. Extremely insightful and wonderful war veteran as a guide , he really made this special with his insight and real experiences , I couldn’t recommend this tour and company highly enough. Great Tour - Well Organised - The company was very efficient to deal with and confirming the tour times etc. My guide was Ibrahim who was an extremely knowledgeable guide giving lots of information but also letting you read the boards. He was very friendly and a pleasure to spend the day with. The place is a must see but be braced for the brutality of it all.

A must-do tour - My guide was Adnan, a very very knowledgeable and experienced person who shared with me with his story. He is an activist now and taught me a lot about the background of Srebrenica, but not only this - he answered on ever question I had about situation in Yugoslavia back then and the current one in Balknas, about the hate speech and the political situation in the world. During the trip I felt like my brain will explode from the amount of information but also it felt like puzzles were falling into place. I think the tour teaches more in those few hours than a year at school. I was also very nicely surprised by the approach of the office. Even tho it was Sunday, so the Memorial was closing earlier and we had to leave, they called me later to apologize for this and make sure that nevertheless I had a great day, which it was! I highly recommend the trip, it really opens eyes on many things and I can say it was one of the best tours in my life.
