- Sutjeska National Park - The exploration of Sutjeska National Park will last approximately 3 hours, beginning with a hike from the Prijevor plateau, which provides breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. The hike will proceed towards the picturesque Trnovačko Lake, a heart-shaped glacial lake nestled among high mountain ridges. The trail is scenic and manageable, with numerous opportunities to pause, take photos, and appreciate the pristine nature. After a break by the lake, the return will follow the same path.
- Maglic Mountain - The hike commences from the Prijevor viewpoint, offering a stunning view of Maglić, the highest peak in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The trail continues down to Trnovačko Lake, a beautiful heart-shaped lake encircled by towering mountains. The route showcases incredible natural beauty and ideal spots for photography and a brief rest by the water.
- Trnovačko Lake - Approximately an hour will be spent at Trnovačko Lake, where a picnic lunch by the water is planned. For those feeling adventurous, there is an opportunity to enjoy a refreshing swim in the cold, clear mountain lake.
- Tjentiste War Memorial - Following the hike, a visit to the Tjentište Memorial (Spomenik) is planned. This powerful monument is dedicated to the Partisan fighters who fell during the Battle of Sutjeska in 1943. The monument, shaped like two massive concrete wings, is situated in a tranquil valley surrounded by mountains. It stands as a striking example of Yugoslav-era architecture and offers a place to reflect on the region’s history and the bravery of those who fought there.

Should you desire to behold and explore the stunning Trnovačko lake, renowned for its characteristic heart shape, this excursion is tailored for you! Following a driving journey of 2.5 hours from our rendezvous location, we’ll arrive at the hike’s commencement point. From this spot, we’ll traverse a distance of 5 kilometers up to Trnovačko lake, a site frequently considered amongst the most picturesque mountain lakes, globally recognized as the ‘lake in the shape of a heart’. Here, we will relish our picnic luncheon. For those so inclined, you are welcome to indulge in a lake swim. Subsequent to these activities, we’ll retrace our path back to our original starting position and set course for Sarajevo. During the hike, we will have the opportunity to witness the tallest summit of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Maglic.
