En route to the Tunnel, our tour leaders will provide an introductory narration, point out Sniper Alley, a tribute to children cruelly killed, and several other significant war landmarks. Upon reaching the extensive Museum complex, You will be presented with a large map of besieged Sarajevo, offering a comprehensive understanding of the Tunnel’s location and tales. After absorbing the information from Your tour leader, be prepared to watch a 17-minute documentary about the siege and the Tunnel. Before heading back to town, you will have the opportunity to traverse 25 meters of the original tunnel, a stark reminder of the hardships endured. The tunnel, excavated by the resourceful and courageous inhabitants of Sarajevo, was the sole path in and out of the besieged city, symbolizing the city dwellers’ resilience and optimism.
