Do this tour! - Dennis was an amazing guide who showed us all his favourite places where the locals go. We left completely stuffed and feeling like we finally got a true taste of Bosnian cuisine. He was also full of a ton of interesting information and history. This tour is well worth it.

Go hungry! - Don’t eat before going a this awesome tour. You get to sample ten delicious different dishes. It was my lunch and dinner. Out of the ten dishes there was only one (fermented corn milk) that I wouldn’t try again but glad I tried it once!

Incredible, book if you love food! - Ilma, our tour guide, was so fun and a great guide. Apparently we were one of the first tourists to book this experience and we absolutely loved trying so many different traditional Bosnia dishes and drinks! We normally get a bit tired on just a history tour so we decided to do a food tour instead which was perfect for us. We still learned a bit of history while eating local food. We even got to visit a local metal craft shop that makes home decorations and other items. We tried burek, cevapi, chicken soup, boza corn drink, handmade meats and cheeses, and other items. We were supposed to also try Bosnian coffee but there was an incidental, rare country-wide power outage so we had fresh juice instead which was very tasty. Overall, I highly recommend this experience and it was certainly a highlight of our trip. Of course, it’s cheaper if you book directly with the tour operator. Thank you so much!! Hvala!

Best Food Tour in Sarajevo - Highly recommended! If you are interested in good food, you must do this tour. It lasts about four hours, various local delicacies are presented and tasted. All of them are delicious. Our guide is Bojan. He is super friendly and knows every story behind the scenes. Don't miss it!

Just do it - Fantastic tour with an absolutely fantastic guide (Alem) We got a lot of stories, and a lot of local food, from places that you didn't even think could be places to eat. Definitely our biggest recommendations.

Excellent food tour of Old Town - Our group of three friends thoroughly enjoyed this food tour in the beautiful city of Sarajevo. Our tour guide (Alim) was engaging and knowledgeable on the culture and food of the area. We met at the tour office in old town and he led us throughout the city to different culinary and historical spots - his passion for the food an culture of the area was shown in his storytelling and knowledge. The food tour provided an excellent orientation of old town and introduced many foods that I'd never heard of - but subsequently enjoyed several more times during our time in Sarajevo. The food was excellent - the portions were larger than your typical food tour - so the walking definitely helped manage the fullness (and the calories). Excellent way to spend half a day in Sarajevo - would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Amazing food - This is an amazing tour! I went with my friends and our tour guide was Rijad. He is really friendly and knows so much about Sarajevo and Bosnian culture in general. He explained the history behind every dish and how is made. We had such a fun time, I didn't even notice that 4 hours have passed. Make sure you go to this tour hungry, because you will be eating a lot. Everything was delicious and I can't decide if I liked the cevapi or the pie the best. If you want a chill tour I definitely recommend this one.

Amazing food plus culture tour - Whether you are in Sarajevo for the first time or the nth time, surely Alem will take you down the city streets to discover the tastes that make up this great city in a way that you start to feel it might belong to you or in a way that seems like the first time. Kudos to him for making it veggie friendly (no small feat in Bosnia and Herzegovina) as much as possible. Nevertheless, what I liked most was his ability to play some kind of game between the many cafes and restaurants we visited, and shift the conversations dealing with culture, religion, and history. Of course you could visit some of these places on your own, but it is not so often we run into someone so skilled at making connections on many different levels. Like going to a theatre, and every cafe is a different actor. There is not much I can take issue with about the tour, well one recommendation, skip breakfast for sure, and maybe the coffee at the final stop could have been better. All in all though I’d rate the tour 9/10.

Don’t bother - Tour guide was more interested in hanging out at the hookah bar than showing us around. We went to 6 places but spent the majority of time watching /waiting for him to finish. The cuisine is all one note.
