Profoundly moving experience - Amazing and very moving tour, recounting the breakup of Yugoslavia and the horrific siege of Sarajevo. The tour guides we had, Eddie and Amir, were clearly passionate about their country's history, both remote and recent. They included personal stories along with explanations of what happened during the war, that made the history come to life quite vividly. It was a truly unforgettable experience.

Not to be missed- Sarajevo under siege tour! - We booked a private Sarajevo under siege tour with Meet Bosnia tours. From the moment we contacted the agency and stepped into office on the date of our tour we were met by an the most friendly, enthusiastic and buzzing team that were willing to tailor the Sarejevo siege tour to our specific needs. Our tour guide Aid shared his wealth of knowledge, insights and personal stories regarding the history of Sarajevo. It didn't go unnoticed to us that the minibus driver also gave us vital pieces of information, which we were really grateful for. Showing us that all members of the team as a whole are truly passionate about their Bosnian history, culture and heritage! We got to really experience and relive the horrors of the siege whilst listening to the stories from our tour guide -Aid, walking through the museum and seeing the exhibits and when crouching through the tunnel of hope. We can honestly say taking this tour was the highlight of our short city break stay in Sarejevo and was the most enjoyable experience for us all as a family. Go ahead and book this tour, don't hesitate you definitely will not regret it!

Best “battlefield” tour I’ve been on! - I actually did the siege of Sarajevo tour with tour guide Aid (A-eed) - I was solo with him and he took me on this great 4-hour tour. Best “battlefield” tour I’ve been on and that’s saying something considering I was in U.S. armed services for 31 years! Aid is from Sarajevo and super knowledgeable- as we wove through the backstreets and little known shortcuts I could tell this was someone who knew Sarajevo like the back of his hand. I had flown multiple combat missions over BiH back in the 1990s - being able to see on the ground with someone showing me the story from the ground was cathartic and simply amazing. The story of the siege unfolded before my eyes as he described the history and he added personal family and relative anecdotes- like he said - everyone in Sarajevo was affected somehow, someway in some shape or form, great job Aid! Good to see when in Sarajevo - Even though the sight is small it offers a good view of what life was like during the civil war in bosnia and what happened in Sarajevo. Reminder of how people have acted against each other. You get the chance to walk in the tunnel.
