The castle offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the encompassing region, featuing a striking island (Corfu), a captivating city (Saranda), and a serene lake (Butrinti Lake) - all seen from the top of this strategic vantage point. Following this, we will head to our next stop, the Gjirokastra Castle. A stroll through the bazaar, renowned for its authenticity, is our next activity. Then we proceed to the castle. Situated on a hilltop, Gjirokastra’s castle, one of the largest in the Balkans, has stood tall since the 12th century, with major visible parts tracing back to the early 19th century. Our journey concludes with a return drive to Saranda, making any necessary stops along the route.
