A+ would highly recommend - Amazing experience. We did the Northern Thai cooking class. Different foods we would never have tried or made. Thai food is more than Pad Thai and we got to see it firsthand. We cooked over charcoal grills, made curry paste from scratch, and ended up making five very tasty dishes and then a quick dessert. Kiki was our guide and she explained everything clearly and was easy to follow. This place is so well organized from pickup to the cooking to the drop off. Also the grounds are beautiful and it’s really a pleasure to be there. Nice getaway.

Amazing experience! - There's a small rice field here, a greenhouse for growing. Mushrooms, chickens and cats for cooking lessons They took us to the market first and taught us about the products that would be on our tables during cooking. I'm a vegetarian and a caterer and was a choice for both of us.

Cookery school Disneyland - We really enjoyed this cookery course. It was clean, fun, safe, interesting and probably the best food of our 3 weeks in Thailand. I would, however, point out that this is not a Grandma’s kitchen or anyone’s real kitchen. This is Thai cookery course Disneyland. It is still really enjoyable, but it is not real. You start at a market where a guide explains certain ingredients to you. It is a very clean, fragrant market. No chickens being strangled etc. Then you look around and everyone there is on a cookery course with their guide. No real customers in the “market”. The complex you are taken then to has 12 mini “houses” all with a petite vegetable garden. Each group does their cooking in one of the little fake houses. Surrounded by landscaped gardens. It is quite the operation. For English people, this is a village in the way that Bicester Village is a village. You will still enjoy it nonetheless and the pork based Lanna menu was terrific and fun to do with the mini clay pots and fire pits.

Such a memorable experience! - Grandma’s Cooking Class was probably one of the most memorable parts of our honeymoon. Our chef, Tay, was so friendly and great explaining every part of the cooking process. She made the whole experience extra fun! The food we made was AMAZING!!! Of note, you are also able to pay extra if you would like a beer. We had a private class and received complimentary personalized aprons through the travel agent we worked with. It was located 30 minutes outside of Old Town, but still highly recommend this company if you are looking for a top-notch cooking class in Northern Thailand!

Perfect day cooking course experience - We booked this last minute based on reviews and it didn't disappoint. A slick operation from the pick up to the drop off at the hotel. Started with a stop at the market to talk about ingredients. They gave us a very comfortable outfit to change into so our didn't get smoky from the charcoal cooking. A walk around the garden to collect some ingredients to begin the paste base for 4 of the 5 dishes we would be cooking. We cooked all 5 and then sat down to eat what we had prepared. Our chef, Tay, was brilliant. She had a very informative but fun style which we loved. Very professional. Highly recommend this day.

Fun - It was such a fantastic experience to us! We chose to find out more about Thai food and picked the one that introduced Northern Thailand / Lanna cuisine. We were picked up from the hotel on time. We first stopped at a market to get an introduction of the key ingredients. At school, Chef Best gave us a tour of the secret garden and we picked the herbs and vegetables used in the dishes. We also took the eggs from its chicken house to make the grilled omelette. We made Thai curry paste and sausages from scratch and cooked dishes in a traditional pavilion with charcoal stoves! Chef Best is really patient and nice. His instructions were clear. We have learnt quite a lot from Best, and the food was very delicious👍🏼 The ground is pretty, green, spacious and calm. The facilities are clean and set ups are good. There was a lot of food cooked and we enjoyed our food in the pavilion in front of the garden. You may want to pack away some or skip dinner! Highly recommended!

Thorough crash course on Northern Thai cuisine - I really wanted to focus on Northern Thai food, and this class delivered. We started at the market, where everything was explained clearly. Then we traveled to the gorgeous campus and cooked over charcoals we lit ourselves. Our chef-teacher took us through the grounds to experience all the herbs that you can't find outside of this region. And we retrieved fresh warm eggs from the chicken coop for our omelets. We made a good many dishes, including packing our own sausages. We had a lot of gorgeous and intensely flavored food. Bring your appetite!
