• Sarasota - We’ll navigate through Sarasota Bay, searching for dolphins in the Intercoastal waterway. Enjoy the intricate architecture of Ringling Mansion as Captain Jim shares historical insights about the area and the Ringling family’s legacy in Sarasota. We’ll then cruise to view the Powel Crosley Estate from the water.
• Longboat Key - After exploring the historical mansions on the bay, we’ll head to New Pass Sandbar, an ideal spot to see numerous fish, dolphins, and manatees. In spring and summer, when manatees emerge from the rivers, you might get a close encounter! As we continue, we can stop by New Pass Grill and Bait Shop for sun protection gear or a sandwich.
• Lido Beach - Big Pass Sandbar, just off Lido Beach, is a popular stop on our charters. It’s a relaxing spot for your party to use the water mat, soak up the sun, and search for shells.
• Historic Spanish Point Campus - Cruising south on the intercoastal, we’ll pass Bird Island, a sanctuary where you can view and photograph colorful Spoonbills, White Ibis, Gray & White Pelicans, and other bird species. At Historic Spanish Point, we can make a quick stop for a beverage at Evie’s at Spanish Point. You’ll have the chance to see the Historic Spanish Point, a 33-acre archaeological, historical, and environmental museum park on Little Sarasota Bay, from the water.
• Turtle Beach - Turtle Beach is a serene spot to explore the mangroves, search for crabs, or find unique shells on the beach.
• Casey Key - We’ll pass through the distinctive Blackburn Point Bridge, also known locally as the Casey Key Swing Bridge. If you’re in the mood for some delicious waterfront dining, we can make an extended stop at Casey Key Fish & Tiki Bar.
• Siesta Key - As we conclude a fantastic day of wildlife viewing, shelling, snorkeling, and sandbar fun, relax in one of the comfortable loungers on the boat and enjoy a cold beverage as we tour past the coastal waterfront homes. We’ll then return to the original pickup location.
