Highly recommended, informative & enjoyable - Excellent guide, Becky. Very informative, personable & good humoured. Managed to answer 99% of the garage of questions from the small group. The tour had a good balance of visual, audio & culinary formats, as well as inside & outside settings. Highly recommended.

One of the best tours we have ever done. Julie, our guide was delightful and very informative, as were all the staff. - We are so pleased we did this tour as we learnt so much about growing sugar cane and the production of sugar as we know it. We also had taste tests of beautiful relishes and sauces, jars of which were purchased. The ginger beer and alcohol also produced there were also very nice. Highly recommend a visit or maybe even 2.

Absolutely fantastic - Where do I start! I’ll start with the coffee and cake. Best chocolate brownie I have ever had in my life, anywhere. Then I’ll go to the friendly, happy staff, in every area of the establishment. So nice to feel welcome by everyone. Then I’ll go to the excellent selection in the gift shop. So much to choose from. clean and tidy too. The price of the tour, the food, and the gifts were very reasonable. When you’re travelling on the road you like to spend money in each town, so it was nice to be able to have great experiences at affordable prices. Then I’ll finish off with the tour. Ange was our tour guide. So knowledge, bright, bubbly, and funny. She absolutely made the experience even better. She had my attention from start to finish. Very interesting and enjoyable. Would absolutely recommend stopping in here to anyone and everyone. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience

Amazing - We did the Sarina Sugar Shed Tour, it was very interesting, Bev who took us was fabulous, knew her stuff and was entertaining and helpful. It was absolutely worth going. All the staff are knowledgeable and friendly and very helpful. The lady in the shop was amazing. We came away with yummy treats and sampled their food whilst there. Would highly recommend.

What a great experience. - Excellent information on history, growing sugar cane and processing. All the taste testing was a bonus. Also excellent coffee and lunches.

Family loved this tour - We’re from Mackay and have been to the Sugar Shed before on a number of occasions. So when my family came up for a visit over the weekend, we just had to show them the Sugar Shed. We drove down on Sunday 14th and did the first tour of the day. This tour is always informative, and there’s always something new to discover. My family loved the experience, especially the taste testing afterwards, and the gift shop. The tour guide was friendly, knew her stuff, and was entertaining. Will definately be back to support this local business again!!!

Sarina is worth the visit - The tour conducted by Carla was very informative and well worth the time. We highly recommend the tour. The food served in the cafe is also very flavoursome. Overall, all the staff very friendly.

Definitely worth a stop! - Our guide was Adelle, and even though she didn't sing for us (LOL), she was entertaining, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The tour was interactive and the kids loved the samples at the end! We loved the onion relish, ginger beer and fudge. After the tour, we stayed and enjoyed lunch in the Cafe.

Fantastic family afternoon out. - We had Betty conduct our tour and she was absolutely fantastic with both of our children. She answered all our sons questions! We really enjoyed the tastings and the fairy floss at the end was a big hit. Thank you Betty!
