Amazing reproduction of ancient cave paintings - Our driver was great. He was very knowledgeable and enhanced our drive to visit Lascaux IV. I have wanted to visit Lascaux for a long time and I was not disappointed.

Exceeded my expectations - The guide who drove us to Lascaux was great - very knowledgeable and I appreciated that we were able to stop in Les Ezeyes on the way to Lascaux (shame that it was too rainy to explore!). The Lascaux museum itself was incredible. Appreciate that Ophorus tours have such small groups and professional guides.

Wonderful Visit to Lascaux IV - Wonderful guided tour of amazing 20,000 year old cave paintings. One wonders how they could have accomplished such sophisticated art in a setting that was so difficult to access and to work in--the ceilings of the interior of a pitch black cave. Reminds me of the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, but at least Michaelangelo had more modern equipment to erect scaffolding and he was able to come in through the front door! Our driver from pick-up in Sarlat to Montignac, Anne, was excellent as well. Knowledgeable and entertaining.

Fabulous. A must in Perigord. - Our guide Martin was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Perigord and prehistoric man putting everything in context. The Les caux IV is done extremely well. I highly recommend this tour.

No hassle Lascaux tour from Sarlat. - Very knowledgeable driver/guide shared lots of info about the prehistory of the area. This prepared us for the Lascaux IV tour done by the guide there. Tickets are reserved for the tour so there is no time wasted. We also got to see some of Sarlat which is a charming medieval town.
