Great day trip with teenagers - A great day for a family! Our sons were 13 and 16 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very punctual pick-up from our hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned van driven by safe driver, with useful and interesting information provided throughout our journey (but also plenty of time for just watching landscape or napping 😉). Interesting visit to turtle conservation centre and time for a coffee and chat by the beach. The snorkeling part of the day was well organised, with snorkels provided (and life jacket for boat), 50TBH each to rent flippers (not necessary but we enjoyed having them). Boat had sun shelter which was good as we did get some sun throughout the day despite sun cream (more tan than burn). Good opportunity to see tropical fish in 3 different places and get amazing photos taken underwater - definitely a memory for life! After snorkeling, we went to a quiet, local restaurant by the water where our guide ordered some amazing dishes that we all enjoyed - Tom Yum soup with prawns, fried fish, chicken with cashews and vegetables and fried pork, rice. We were so full we skipped dinner that evening! If you think you’ll get hungry during the day, bring some breakfast bars or dry crackers. Water was provided but we also brought our own. Then a comfortable drive home - some of us were definitely snoozing after a BIG day! Not cheap but highly recommend. It was especially great to chat with Yui and learn more about her life and Thai culture.

The Easiest way to do snorkeling from Bangkok - This was just a perfect day trip for a young traveler. My 12 year old son and I were in Bangkok for a few days, and I really wanted him to experience the natural beauty of Thailand outside the city. We had a wonderful time with great guides (Gan and Jib) and a fantastic boat crew. The highlight was the snorkeling, and our boat crew picked 3 great spots over our 2+ hours on the water. We started at at a beach with huge schools fish everywhere - my kid couldn't stop smiling! Next was a jump off the side of the boat out in the bay, where we saw more variety in the terrain. For our last stop, they offered options, and we went for a beach stop with more snorkeling, a beautiful beach, and kayaking. The only extra charge we encountered was a small fee for renting flippers, which I recommend. Everything else was included, and the equipment was good. I was glad to be able to shower and change when we were done. Bring a towel and dry clothes for the car ride back. The head of the crew had an underwater GoPro, and took about 100 pictures of our trip that they sent via email the same day. These were the best pictures of our whole trip, and we didn't even have to think about it. The sea turtle conservation center was a great stop for us, because my son is a real animal lover. It's a quick stop - a small museum and a dozen large, outdoor tanks of turtles. Pickup right at our hotel by a pair of English-speaking guides made the trip very low stress. If we needed to make a bathroom stop (we spent 2 hours getting there and 3 hours getting back), they always knew a good place to stop with good bathrooms and shopping. They picked a great local place for lunch (included), too. We were tired and so we skipped the stop at the local market, which would normally be included. The boat crew was extremely concerned with our safety, always making sure there was a life preserver in the water and encouraging us to rest. Back on land, I found I'd suffered a small cut on my foot while swimming in shallow water, and the operator insisted on patching me up. The only thing I wish I'd know was that we were going to be eating lunch late in the afternoon, after snorkeling. You should bring (or buy at a rest stop) something to snack on. That, and don't forget the sun screen! A great trip that was one of our highlights of the vacation.

Photoshoot under the sea - What an awesome experience! Yui and team were very friendly and knowledgeable. We squeezed a lot of activities and sights into the day trip but it never felt rushed. Our underwater photographers were very dedicated making sure we had amazing photos and videos to take back with us. I’d highly recommend this day trip for anyone staying in Bangkok.
