While it doesn’t grant a full scuba certification, it acts as a brief introduction to diving in open waters. The experience typically spans 3-4 hours, including a 20-minute video, reading from the PADI program book, taking a quiz, and receiving a Certificate of Completion. Participants will practice skills in shallow water before diving at the Mangel Halto Reef.

Among the Best Discovery Dives I’ve Taken - I’ve done over 20 Discovery Dives never having been certified. Based on reviews I was excited for this one as I had not done Aruba yet. I was less than thrilled though initially as there was zero communication regarding actual pickup times at my hotel and they were 40 minutes late picking me up. I ended up being the only Discovery diver with one other person being recertified so with two divermasters accompanying us it was essentially a private dive for me. The equipment was all first class, was the first time I have been provided booties, and the diving conditions are among the best I’ve ever experienced and certainly better than my recent Hawaii and Mauritius dives. Both dive masters were experienced and did a great job with our skills reviews and handling my knee and equalizing issues. Our first dive included a small shipwreck and then second dive off a small pier. We wrapped just as the sun was setting. Except for the pickup miscue this was 5 stars all the way.

New Year Scuba Adventure - I was hesitant to scuba dive since it had been more than 30 years since I last went. My husband is certified but stayed with me for the trip. It was a great experience. Junior our instructor had so much patience that I never felt embarrassed if I was unable to master the task the first or second time. His sense of humor added to the experience. I felt confident when we did our dive. We saw some very cool fish and a shipwreck. The whole time Junior made sure he stayed near me in case I needed help and safety was his main concern. My husband enjoyed the trip and I hope to come back next year and get certified. Aruba is a great place to be under water!

Just do it. - Convenient pick up and drop off at the hotel. Great care and knowledge the guides had with instructing my wife, which was here first time diving. The mango halto reef to the shipwreck. Pay close attention to the decompressing of your ears as my wife had troubles. The guides love and passion for diving is great would love to finish my dive master certification with them if we had more time on the island.

Worth for everyone to try *thumbs up* - My partner take the first dive experience with Alba Abreu and it was great. The Instructor takes the time that my partner feel safe and could enjoy the instructor lessions and wreck dive. Thanks to Alba :x

Dominick was a great first time scuba host! - Dominick was a great first time scuba host. It was my wife’s first time and we had lessons and in water raining before going to the open water where we got to see an octopus, lion fish and a shipwreck. Definitely recommend!

Best Scuba Experience! - This was our first time scuba diving and we aren’t the best swimmers but it was an incredible experience. The company was extremely professional. They picked us up from our hotel, took us to the dive shop, took us to the water and dropped us back off at our hotel. Dominique was our guide and he was extremely kind, funny, patient, and knowledgeable. I highly suggest this company!

Entertaining diving - Instructor Emanuel Vallejos explained step by step everything that had to be done in a first dive experience and although it was not the first time he had dived, I must admit that Emanuel taught much more than he had learned previously.
Delivering tactical knowledge and performing intense practice in the open ocean. 10 out of 10 for instructor

Unforgettable First Scuba Experience with a Few Initial Hiccups - We recently did the intro to scuba diving, and overall, it was an incredible experience. There were a few hiccups at the start—we weren’t sure exactly where to meet. The instructions just mentioned the cruise ship terminal, but it wasn’t clear if we should go inside the secure area or wait outside to the left or right. This, along with some unforeseen communication issues on the company’s side, caused a bit of confusion and a delay in getting picked up.
However, once we found the location and got underway, everything turned around. This was our first time scuba diving, and our instructor, Alba, was fantastic. She guided us through on-land instruction, then shallow water skills, and finally deeper water until we reached a sunken tugboat.
The entire experience was amazing, and Alba’s calm and knowledgeable guidance made us feel completely at ease. We enjoyed it so much that we’re now planning to get scuba certified! Despite the initial confusion, we would absolutely book with this company again.
