Incredible guide, incredible snorkeling, so fun - By some stroke of luck I was able to do a private tour with Phillip. He went above and beyond, and also told me a lot about island life. On my trip to Aruba I snorkeled at Boca Catalina, the Antilles shipwreck, Baby Beach, and Mangel Halto with Phillip. Mangel was incredible. The corals are huge. Ask him to show you the shipwreck there. It’s eerie. Feel free to tell him your preferences. He also likes to hike, and is probably down to explore almost anywhere. I wouldn’t go to Spanish Lagoon. There’s a sea wall preventing you from kayaking up the interesting parts, and I don’t think it’s worth going over there. Mangel Halto is a charming beach with many areas to explore and relax in…bring everyone in your party regardless if they are kayaking and plan to spend the day there. Fantastic snorkeling and gorgeous mangrove beaches. It’s so lovely. Phillip is a wonderful guide and will take care of you, keep you safe, and tailor the trip to our physical abilities. Book with confidence!

Kayaking and Snorkeling in Mangel Halto - My mom and I went on a solo kayaking trip with Philip at Mangel Halto beach and the Spanish Lagoon. First we went snorkeling then went over near the lagoon. Philip was knowledgeable of the area and friendly. He made sure to ask our comfort level and if we'd prefer more time to snorkel or kayak throughout the excursion. He offered us water and a snack and went back for my mom's visor when it fell off in the water. Overall it was a really relaxing time. I'd highly recommend booking with Philip for kayaking excursions in Aruba.

Philip is an excellent guide and a great guy - My wife and daughter went out in a double kayak with Philip as their guide. It was really windy that day so I was a little worried that they would have a hard time out there, going to the reef across from Mangel Halto beach (the meeting point for the tour). And they did have a bit of difficulty, but Philip threw them a rope and just towed them along, no problem. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the reef, and even tried to point out the mountains of Venezuela way off in the distance, although it was just a bit too cloudy that day. We would definitely sign up for another tour with this guide, and use Viator - of course. They make it so easy to find tours / activities, sign up, modify and enjoy!

Great experience - Philip was a great guide. We had rough surf and excessive wind. Felt totally safe kayaking with Philip. Expect to get a little wet and enjoy the sites.

Great Experience and Snorkeling at Mike’s Reef (Spanish Lagoon) - Great tour and guide! This is somewhat of an open water kayak tour and current along with wind can make for a slight challenge but not too overwhelming either. Snorkeling Mike’s Reef can be difficult for individuals not comfortable floating inches above blade coral. Small to no fins recommended. Lots of life and coral formations.
