Beautiful island. Kayaking was not easy but still fun - We met our guide Phillip, next to the flying fishbone. Very attentive and kind. Gave a brief overview on how to kayak. Life jackets, water, and packaged nuts were provided. There were a total of 4 tourists when I went. One person did a single kayak. The other three did double kayaks. Phillip stayed beside us the whole time. Getting to the island was hard work. It was very windy. We ended up getting out in the mangroves just short of the pier. We had to walk in the water and pull the kayak. Paddling up stream w the wind blowing toward us was a feat. It took about 15 minutes. Going back was much easier as we had the wind behind us. It took 5 minutes to return. The sun was starting to set as we returned. So it was a beautiful view and very fun experience. The island is lovely. Layers and layers of sea glass. Mostly white, green and brown. We found a small purple, red and blue. We stayed on the island about 60-90 minutes. It was the perfect amount of time. Definitely a 5 star experience but I wouldn’t recommend it for those who are not comfortable kayaking in the ocean.

Sea Glass Everywhere!! - This was such a cool experience. As those that love sea glass this was an awe inspiring experience. We had Rambo as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the areas history and very hospitable. Definitely recommend Rambo for future trips. Everywhere you looked there was a ton of sea glass. Don’t worry about not filling a bag, you 100% will find enough. Sea glass for days. We will be coming back for sure to add to our collection.

Great time - Great fun regardless of whether you collect sea glass. Fun kayaking, beautiful scenery, nice guides and just the right amount of time. And if you enjoy collecting sea glass, holy cow this is heaven on earth. The pictures don’t do it justice.

Hidden Gem - I enjoy kayaking and beachcombing so this was a perfect combination of activities for this tour. Our guide Phillip gave us a refresher on kayaking before taking us out to the island. The kayaking was super easy so this tour is also great for beginner kayakers. Once the island Phillip gave us a quick history of Aruba, Sea Glass Island, and showed us the spots for sea glass. The sea glass was so abundant it was difficult to decide which pieces to collect; we did find some rare colors of red, cobalt blue, light blue, turquoise, yellow, and orange.

What a magical little island experience! - Seaglass island is covered - literally covered - with gorgeous little beach glass pebbles - it’s truly magical and a great experience for the treasure hunter in all of us! It’s a great way to bring beach combing memories of Aruba home with you, as it is illegal to take sand, shells and coral off the island. Our guide Phillip was the absolute best!! Professional, knowledgeable, funny and a skilled guide and kayaker. He really made our entire experience! Just a few caveats to know before you go: 1) Wear / bring hard soled water shoes - think Keens or Teevas, Crocks, Adidas Slides, etc. Your feet will thank you. The island is made up of medium to largish rounded rocks. We wore soft soled water shoes and our feet were a bit sore in the moment. But definitely do not go barefoot!! 2) Bring a fine mesh bag - like for washing lingerie or delicates - it’s a great way to collect the beachglass for brining home. 3) Be aware that the channel that you’ll need to cross via kayak can be a little choppy and windy, so wear the life vest, bring a fanny pack to secure your small valuables (keys, phone, glasses) and don’t be surprised if you get a little bit wet! Overall it’s an incredible experience, we gathered a large bag of gorgeous sea glass to bring home to friends, family and for art projects! Excellent experience and we can’t wait to return on our next visit!

Fun, educational, easy! - The island is full of sea glass. The day we went the water was like glass which made the kayak trip so easy and enjoyable. Our guide shared his knowledge of the history of the island and of all of Aruba. I would highly recommend this trip.

Great small adventure in Aruba - Kayaking to a small island with a small group of folks is an experience you should try at least once. A bit of a drive to get there, but still pretty easy. The treasure you'll find is not necessarily valuable but challenge yourself to find the rare blues and reds.

Incredible! - We had a great time, it was so relaxing and the amount of sea glass was absolutely mind-blowing. If I ever go back to Aruba I'll do this excursion again.
