Great way to visit Bonaventure - We went up savannah three years ago and did this tour and decided to do it again with Timmy. He picked us up from our hotel and took us to Bonaventure. Because it’s so hot outside , we were the only three on the tour. So we got a private tour. He was very informative and full of information and dates. Definitely recommend this method of getting to Bonaventure .

Worth visiting - Our tour guide Tim was great and had a wealth of information regarding this historical Cemetery and some of it's residents. Even tho it was ungodly hot, I'm still glad I went.

Georgia history, with a fantastic guide! - We really enjoyed our tour of the Bonaventure Cemetery! Tim was tremendously knowledgeable, and his depth of knowledge has been built over years of research and digging through records like old newspapers. We had a nice ride out in a van with plenty of A/C! We spent two hours out in the cemetery, mostly focusing on the older parts. He also helped us to find the perfect lunch spot! If you want a taste of Georgia history, this is definitely a tour to take!

Amazing tour ⭐️ - My husband and I really enjoyed the tour with Tim. He was prompt at picking everyone up and was very informative about the cemetery and tombstones. I learned quite a bit from Tim… the sculptor that made headstones, the history of the cemetery, the famous people who are buried there, the different sections of the cemetery, and even history of Savannah. Tim’s family has lived in Savannah for six generations. Furthermore, the cover of the book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil was photographed in the cemetery. I highly recommend taking a tour with Tim if you are in the Savannah area. 👍🫶🏻

Savannah History - Tim provided so much history about Savannah. We walked away with a better understanding of the city and its history. The service was top-tier - From picking up each guest from their hotel, to the clean, air conditioned van and the cold bottled water, Tim made sure the guests were comfortable. I cannot recommend this tour enough if you are looking for some good history from a true native. Thank you, Tim! We enjoyed seeing the cemetery and learning about the city!

Hassle Free and Informative - Tim was so knowledgeable and engaging. He took time to answer all questions. The tour was enhanced by the details he shared throughout our time together. A big plus was being picked up at our hotel so we didn’t have the hassle of getting there on our own. We were provided cold bottled water which was needed as it was a hot Georgia day. Definitely recommend this tour. It’s great for those of us who love history.

Tour guide - let go of your anger and you’ll be great! - The cemetery is amazing, the monuments stunning, and the history intriguing. I really enjoyed the cemetery. Our guide was cordial but I felt he really didn’t want questions and preferred to talk without interruption. When I asked why ghost stories weren’t allowed at Bonaventure, it was a strange response about respecting the families. He seemed very uncomfortable with my question and dismissed me with “next question?” He seemed oddly aligned with the cemetery and had a strong Allegiance to it. There were times I sensed an undercurrent of hostility in him. I would recommend he practice relaxing and opening up in front of a mirror and see what we see, repressed hostility. Otherwise he was cordial, informative, and I appreciate the pick up for the event, the ride there, and the ride back to wherever we wished in Savannah.
