Do not miss this tour! - This is a tour that should not be missed. Our guide, Shannon, was absolutely incredible. He told us about the cemetery itself. We learned a ton about history and he had interesting stories about many of the people there. He was phenomenal in teaching us about the symbolism found here and in many cemeteries. We learned so much and heard some amazing personal anecdotes. Shannon was one of the best tour guides we have ever had!

As a Girl Scout Alumni... - As a Girl Scout Alumni Troop from Savannah, we got to learn about the history of the cemetery that the GS Founder, Juliette Low, is buried. Sorry to see it “abandoned” with no active support group to maintain it other than the city.

Good experience - Learned lots of Savannah history. Less pretentious than Bonaventure. Next door is the African American cemetary at Laurel Grove South - beautiful.

All tours associated with Shannon Scout with Paschal Miller are Great! - We were super excited to see our guide was Paschal Miller with Shannon Scott Tours. The cemetery is beautifully set among the moss-covered trees and all though not as ornate as most of the site in Bonaventure, this tour is not to be missed. Paschal is passionate about his birth town and his education lends more insight than someone that just moved to the area and did a little reading and hearsay. There were only one other couple and a jogger in the entire cemetery which makes the tour even more enjoyable.
