Pecan Crusted Chicken & an Elvis Impersonation - If you get Nelson, aka “Nelvis,” as your guide, you’ll be in for a real treat! While other general/historical tours of Savannah may have briefly touched on some of these stories, this tour focuses on the paranormal and macabre history of the city. Dinner at the Pirates House was the primary reason we went with this tour as opposed to the others and it did not disappoint. Do note that the dinner options come from a preset menu but the famous pecan crusted chicken is included as an option (and I highly recommend!). While most at our table opted for the chicken, those who chose a different option were also pleased with their food. Be warned, the portions are massive and a takeaway box will likely be required- so come hungry! Oh, and don’t forget to ask “Nelvis” to perform his best Elvis impersonation for you!

Highly Recommended - This tour and dinner was fantastic. The one hour trolley tour hosted by Captain DuBois and his trusty driver - Captain Rita, went by some of the beautiful mansions in Savanah. They were pretty on the outside, but our host told stories of darkness and spirits that lurked on the inside. The trolley was met by three scary actors, who told their stories of murder and mayhem. After the one hour ride through the city, the group was taken to the Pirate House restaurant for dinner. The food was great. And afterwards, we were led down to the basement, where drunken sailors were kidnapped and put on ships. The price was very reasonable - considering your getting a ghost tour, dinner in a top notch restaurant, transportation and entertainment for three hours.

Fantastic Ghost Dinner Tour! - Wow! What a great tour. Nelson was so knowledgeable speaking about Savannah. His family has over 160 years of roots here. Very smooth tour never felt rushed. The food in the restaurant was great. My suggestion for the restaurant is maybe add a steak dish to your menu.

Awesome - I enjoyed the stories and loved the food. So much history in the city and to compare stories from different moderators was very interesting. Loved the story of the green house

Ghost tales - Everybody had a good time. Our trolley was full with folks who ranged in ages from 8 -70+. Our “dead” pirate guide was charming and told a lot of corny jokes, which kept the group on its toes all the time. We got a great education on the ghosts who haunt Savannah’s mansions.

Not great - Na. I wanted an experience that was memorable. I was disappointed. Hoaky verbal stories and a disappointing meal was not worth the price charged.

Dining with strangers. Ugh! - Nelson was an amazing storyteller. Really enjoyed the ghost stories but the eating with strangers at the same table was utterly unbearable. You really need to find a better way, as it completely ruins the experience. Sooo uncomfortable.
