Historic Savannah - We signed up for a group tour and it turned out to be just two of us. Brian met us promptly at the time and place. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Savannah. He answered any of our questions we had. We would highly recommend this tour to not only learn the history but also get familiar with how to get around the historic area of downtown Savannah.

Very informative and fun and open to questions - We went with Ben and it was so much fun! If you want a well researched tour that is interesting and entertaining, then you’ve found the right tour. Ben is very friendly and willing to entertain your questions no matter how strange. We went on the later tour and he took us to two bars that he personally hangs out with and introduced us to the people there, so you feel very welcomed. Please do yourself a favor and take this tour. We also saw a cat in a bookstore playing with a book.

Historical Tour Review - Brian was our tour guide. He did a great job at explaining each stop and allowing us to ask questions when needed. It was very interesting to see all of the different statues and buildings that helped shape Savannah.

Best Tour Ever! - Thanks to the guys at House of Clayton! We had a great tour, learned real facts, and had a great time! This tour is a must experience for anyone visiting, or local! My husband and I took the tour and loved how flexible and conversational the tour was. We could ask questions at anytime and stopped whenever we wanted to. Looking forward to our next tour and bringing family and friends.

Informative but only for a limited area - We met Brian, our tour guide, at Chippewa Square where he spent about 15 minutes telling us about Oglethorpe and his background up to the founding of Savannah. From there, we walked around several blocks while he pointed out homes, who lived there, and their significance (including General Sherman in the Civil War). The study of the houses that used ground up oyster shells for concrete was exceptionally interesting. However, I expected the tour to cover more of the historical waterfront area, or the City Hall. We never came within 2 blocks of either. Very little was mentioned of the slave trade coming through Savannah either. It was still a good tour, but I'd only use it to supplement other tours. It appeared the hop on, hop off was covering more of the town than our walking tour.

Good tour - I was amazed at the number of buildings we were told are haunted! We were the only ones on the tour which made it very enjoyable and Bob was very personable.
