Best choice! - This was the 4th tour I booked through Savannah Tours and Tales. I live here and get lots of out-of-town guests. I've tried a number of different touring companies, but once I found this one, I stuck with it. KT is a historian by vocation, an enthusiastic storyteller, and a Savannah native. You will get the REAL stories and facts, not some of the made up stuff I've heard from others! And every time I tour with her, I learn something new! She will also tailor her tour to the interests of the group whenever possible. Worth every penny and more!

Perfect Walking Tour - Long overdue! KT was so informed and shared Savannah in an entertaining way. She is a Savannah native so her enthusiasm, passion and dedication for Savannah's history is genuine and not scripted. I especially appreciated her extensive knowledge of the Coast's Gullah Geechee history and culture and lifting up the great women of Savannah. She picks up your interest quickly and runs with it. The coffee and chocolate were delicious intermissions.

Caffeine, chocolate, and stories - My niece chose this in part because it included coffee and chocolate. I was really impressed with how comprehensive the tour was. Art was fantastic, and as many times as I've been to Savannah and as many tours as I've gone on, I learned still more wonderful tidbits. Plus, the coffee and chocolate were wonderful. If highly recommend this one.

KT was a fabulous guide.... - KT was a fabulous guide. Loved her passion for the city and enjoyed her wealth of knowledge. She shared history of famous battles and pointed out facts about all of the beautiful architecture not to mention her knowledge of the trees and plants.

GREAT TOUR! - KT was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Savannah, while keeping the tour fun and casual! I love the extra touches of getting coffee and stopping to get chocolate. Both were delicious!

A bad tour guide shapes the experience - Unfortunately, our tour guide was condescending and admitted that he was lying about a lot of the information he was sharing. He arrived complaining that he didn’t know he had a tour today and then joked “well since I’m here, let’s do this.” He made misogynistic jokes, lots of disparaging remarks about Catholics and people of Irish descent. Claimed that Savannah was not really a touristy town until 2018. And spent 10 minutes talking about the movie “Forest Gump,” which filmed a scene in Savannah. For a Coffee & Chocolate Walking HISTORY tour of Savannah, it was nice coffee, delicious chocolate and fake history by a snarky guide who seemed annoyed to be working on a beautiful November afternoon.

No show - Unfortunately the guide never showed up. I called twice to the number that was listed, but there was no answer. I have not received a refund yet either.
