It's a must do! - This was an amazing trip with an amazing lady Miss Patt Gunn the "Truth Teller". She did an outstanding job giving us true history of Savannah and the slave trade. Put this excursion on the top of your to do list. Just an FYI. This is a bus tour and you definitely need to bring a jacket that air was wonderful and needed with the southern heat and humidity.

Interesting, informative and enriching experience! - Incredible experience, very moving and informative! These stories need to be told as there seems to be very little other representation of the history of slavery in the old city of Savannah. Sister Patt speaks her own truth and the truth of her community and ancestors, debunks myths and talks about what’s being done to ensure the history is not forgotten.

Disappointed, then delighted - Actually, I got a call 6 minutes before the tour began telling me the bus would not pick us up in front of the hotel as has previously been arranged. We were rebooked onto a bus-and-boat tour of Savannah that turned out to be magnificent. The tour guides were informative and entertaining. All turned out better than anticipated.
