Amazing and informative tour! - If you can only take one tour while you’re in Savannah I recommend you take this tour! Sister Patt is passionate, informative, friendly and fair minded in her presentation of the history of the area and the enslaved people who helped build it. She not only was able to tell us about the past but also about what’s currently being done to tell the complete story.

Informative - This was a fantastic tour. Sister Pat was so informative, passionate and a wonderful advocate for her people. I so enjoyed the worship service at the cemetery and enjoying praying for those souls. Some of the torture and cruelty expressed was so terrible-I cant believe how cruel those men were. I am so glad this is being taught and continue to keep up the good work.

Come to Savannah for this Tour - Sister Pat of the Gullah Geechee community was such a wealth of knowledge. She graciously and generously told stories and offered a great education on history and present. Go to Savannah if only for this experience. A MUST! I wish I brought my teenage daughter.

Great Tour! - Sister Patt is the real deal! She delivers a first-rate history of the Gullah Geechee and the history of slavery and the underground railroad in Savannah. She shares her knowledge about family, her research, and endeavors to get the City to place markers recognizing this history. Her easy conversational style will capture you at the inception of the tour and keep your attention throughout. This is one tour you should not miss in Savannah.

A Must Do Tour - This tour was very informative and authentic. Sister Pat delivered an abundant amount of knowledge, energy, and passion towards a topic that can be difficult to accept as part of our history. I left wanting to learn more and felt great gratitude that Sister Pat is a vessel to share facts and stories with us on the tour. I highly recommend this tour to those visiting Savannah.
