Highlight reel for Savannah’s Historic District - Had a great time today on the trolley. Mel Bell was an excellent guide knowledgeable but funny. In 90 minutes we saw all 24 squares in the district, learned some history l, was reminded of all the great films made in Savannah and marked restaurants took check out while in town. Our tour group stayed intact, no on/off activity—although having done that in other cities it can be tough to get back on again—but I think it was due to the great storytelling from our guide. Highly recommend the tour and if you can find her, Mel Bell!

Trolley Tour - What a great experience! My only regret was not doing it on the first day we arrived!! We got to see so much of Savannah! I love that house can hop on and off as much as you like. Our driver Richard, and Magic Mike were great!! I am sure they are all great but the 2 of them gave DETAILED INFORMATION…definitely recommend doing this if you are here. Much easier than walking lol

Highly rated! - Essential for getting the feel of this beautiful city! All four of our drivers (Nat, Ted, Josh, and Red) were knowledgeable and easy to understand. Josh was, in addition, a very funny guy; Red was wonderfully entertaining as well as able to bring history to life! Include the PROHIBITION MUSEUM as part of your day…simply wonderful!

Great experience - Between the knowledge of the narrative from the drivers and the many stops we got to learn and see Savannah the right way

Girl Trip - The tour guides were great, very knowledgeable, and related excellent stories. The trolleys were clean, convenient and not overcrowded. The only negative for the whole tour was that we were dropped off at the cemetery stop #14 at 4:59 PM and not advised that there would not be another bus coming. We know that the time was posted in the trolley about the last pick up being at 5 o'clock, but the information we had in the brochure said 6 o'clock. We feel that the driver should have at least mentioned that no other trollies would be coming. Overall, it was a good experience.

Had to wait a long time to get on a trolley. - This was our first hop on bus tour in any city. We paid before our trip so we could easily jump on and show our QR code. 3 buses past us without stopping. I think they were completely full. We had to wait about 30-35 mins and then I called to find out if we were at a correct spot. We were. Another trolley came by about 10 mins later. That was frustrating. If there isn’t room on a bus, or 3 buses, then they’ve oversold. We did get on the 4th trolley and it was packed. Several ladies at the same stop waiting q us had to wait for ANOTHER trolley to get on. The tour guide/drivers were good. Lots of valuable info.

Convenient, but not as informative as the walking tours I’ve done - Good for a basic overview of the layout and history of historic downtown. We rode it straight thru all the stops so we didn’t miss any commentary. Still, having done many city tours and knowing the history of this incredible city, I was a bit disappointed. If you are able, opt for a walking tour instead.

Disappointed this time - We have treated out of town guests to your trolley tours many times and enjoyed them, but this time was disappointing. The guide was loud, rude and shaky on history. We were happy to hop off and later get on a tour by Denise, who met our expectations of humor and knowledge of the area.

Great Guides, but very busy. Walking Tour is probably more worth it. - The boarding experience was pretty terrible. It did indicate the correct place to meet for initial boarding, but on the way there are multiple ticket booths that had lines queued up. We waited there thinking there was a check in to get your ticket (such as the Savannah Riverboat, which requires check in and physical ticket). It was not a check in, just selling tickets or information - which would have been helpful with some type of sign to direct us where to go if you already have tickets. So while waiting we missed at least one bus. Then we got to the boarding area, stood in another line until a bus was about 75% full and then, as we were boarding, told to catch the next one. So we waited for another bus and finally got on board. We had plans afterward so had to leave after 8 stops since we were about 20 minutes behind from all the waiting. If you have to decide between bus tour options, the others were not as busy, but honestly, all the main historical stops are like maybe a 1.5 mile loop. Just do a walking tour. The bus driver/guide was great though.
