Eat before you go. - Our tour guide was a lot of fun and she added a lot to the experience. For $150 per person, the food was a huge disappointment. 1/4 sandwich at the first stop, 1 empanada at the second stop, 1 wonton at the third stop, and no food at the third place. Not really what we were expecting on a FOOD TOUR.

Not what we signed up for and refund was refused. - We did not get what was described. First of all, there was confusion regarding the start time. We were asked to change from 4:00 to 4:30 (no problem), and told multiple times to look for "Josh." The only guide in the meeting area was "Bethany," and she had a different name for the original 4:00 slot. (Evidently a third-party booking agent?) We got it sorted eventually. She stated right away that we had signed up for a "boozy tour." (No, that's not us! Two of the four of us don't drink alcohol). She couldn't change it at that point. So, for $200 a PERSON, we got 4 alcoholic drinks that we didn't want and didn't sign up for and very, very "small bites." It was only four different kinds of food at only four places and literally each was gone in 1-2 bites. We were most excited for the "historical" portions with links to the food ... NOT the booze which was the focus, unfortunately. Bethany was fun and a nice guide, and it was not her fault that we didn't get the tour we signed up for. I contacted Viator and attempted to get partial refund; I asked for 50% refund which seemed more than fair. They refused and only gave me 20% back. They were not even concerned about our group's awful experience and didn't even ask for details. Please don't do this tour unless you want to pay hundreds of dollars for almost nothing!
